lsu has one of the best o lines in the country this year

if yo want defense team to make bcs title game, maybe florida st, their schedule is weak if they get by clemson and va tech i think they go 12-0, the rest of their schedule is a joke

id love to see lsu vs florida st for the bcs title, id win big money then id get greedy and pound the garbage out of lsu, cause fsu would get crushed.

IS HARD TO BELIEVE NO SEC TEAM IN BCS TITLE, UNLESS FSU AND USC BOTH GO UNBEATEN OR OKLAHOMA, AND LSU 1 LOSS MIGHT STILL LEAPFROG THOSE TEAMS OR BAMA, but i dont think bama wins  2 in a row and 3 in 4 years

McCarron was the MVP of the national championship game.

I pretty much eat, sleep and breathe SEC football 365 days a year, and I derive a significant portion of my annual income from wager on college football.  I cannot afford to be wrong.  I have way too much money riding on it. - Jimmydafreak

mccarron went 23/34 for 235 yds and managed the game beautfully to beat an undefeated team with a great D, right in their backyard, but yeah, he sucks

Obviously, McCarron played a fantastic NC game. I will gladly give him a pat on the behind for that...it's well deserved. However, there is "something" about him that I am not fully sold on. I still have an uneasy feeling about him through his maturation process. We will see soon enough. Hopefully, my "uneasy" feeling is false.

With that being said, I am excited about the future in 2nd string QB Ely. He did play back-up to Aaron Murray in HS and led his HS team (post Murray) to a State Championship his junior year and led them to another SC appearance his senior year. IMO, he looked solid during A-Day and I feel confident he will have a great QB career at Bama.

actually, those are some big mutha fuckas...and you know they were all 4 and 5 star recruits...

grid - there may be some big, lineman but probably the only team with more athletic OL's than LSU will be Bama this year...

Yeah, they are big but that is to be expected. LSU had talent all over the field on D last year.

Don't feel like looking it up, but Wisconson's o-line is also huge.

On espn they said LSU new QB threw a lot of interceptions, at spring practices.

But that shoudn't matter right...........

I mean people or picking USC to win the National Championship Game and Barkly in 2010 was 38.5 pct, and in 2011 he was only 48.5 pct.

College gameday was talking about Barkly and they put on the t.v screen 38.5 >2010 and 48.5 >2011 passer pct and i posted it.

Then i looked at the link you gave above 30 minutes later and seen the comp pct, and i still can't understand why they said 38.5 and 48.5. I can see me making a mistake but espn having them numbers up for everybody to see, makes me wonder how did college gameday come up with them numbers.

Don't drink brother...

That was probably Robert Smith. He's never liked LSU so disregard his comments when discussing them because he appears to have an agenda.

Mett threw two picks in the spring game with one of them being right through his TEs hands.

Auburn, who doesn't have a SEC caliber QB on the roster, and doesn't have the personel to run a pro-style offense, has virtually no shot of scoring a single point against LSU's defense.  A victory for Auburn in this game will be to lose by less than 30 points.

You may very well win your under 10.5 wins bet, and I for one hope you do (because that will pretty much put Alabama in the national championship game), but LSU is NOT losing to Auburn.  LSU beat Auburn by 5 TDs last season, and it could very well be an even worse beatdown this season.  Regardless, this game has zero chance of being competitive.

The Florida game in the Swamp, on the other hand, could very well be competitive.  This is probably the second toughest game on LSU's schedule.

@ Florida  (probable L)

v South Carolina  (toss up)
@ Tex A&M  (slight edge to LSU)
v Alabama  (toss up)
v Miss State (tougher gm than LSU backers think)

LSU finishes 9-3 at best
