#3 Posted: 5/26/2012 11:57:55 PM they already did....they beat them 3 times in a row, including a blowout in Miami wearing their home jerseys Cochise
not saying they will but to say they can't is a stretch given they've done it 3 times in a row

Slowing down the pace of the game destroys the momentum and rhythm of teams that want to run. Boston is the best at doing so. Boston can easily score 90+ points by speeding up the game but that would have benefitted their opponents. ATL, PHI, and MIA all like to run. Boston also plays a half court set which kills more time during games. These are facts vs your opinion. I'm not trying to bash you but you called people fools and Boston scoring in the 80's has nothing to do with the outcome of this series. Atl, Phi, Bos and MIA are in the top 10 defensively in the east. Who's the fool now?

#11 Posted: 5/27/2012 4:40:00 AM the iso-styled half court offense off the Heat plays into the defensive strength of the Celtics. they are great on their rotations and help defense. plus the Celtics are in the heads of the Heat they have owned them decisively and not just this year they are 5-2 since lebron brought his "talents" to south beach.
if they can limit their turn overs, and transition run outs of the Heat i like their chances |

No offense, but you're a friggin idiot. First of all, Indiana is bigger and posed more problems for Miami due to their size that Boston doesnt have.
SECOND OF ALL - with that bullshit reasoning you could say "The Sixers pushed the celtics to 7 games. Miami isn't the sixers"
Can't wait for 2 weeks from now so I can rub it in your face when Miami wins in 5. |

#14 Posted: 5/27/2012 8:48:16 AM Boston just needs to be close by the time the 4th quarter arrives, then without Bosh and with LeBum sucking huge fat ones (since he cant change a dollar), only Wade will be able to beat them from said point. |

#15 Posted: 5/27/2012 9:03:46 AM I think it's tougher than people think. I'd be shocked if BOS wins the series but they always play the Heat tough so I wouldn't just assume the Heat sweep. I also think Bosh being out is going to help the Cs a lot. What I do know is the both play ugly ball so bet the under. |

#19 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:00:36 PM Its laughable that you say the Celtics have no size when the Heat are the same..who do the Heat have for size? Juan Howard? Ronny Turiaf? Give me a break. Without Bosh i give the Celtics a good shot at taking the Heat to 6 or 7 games. Boston's defense in these situations steps it up.
Let me ask you this....Rondo or Chalmers? haha Watch that match-up. |

#22 Posted: 5/27/2012 12:20:11 PM This site is filled with predictions gone wrong. ANYTHING can happen in sports. You wouldn't have started this thread after game 4 of the Heat/Pacers series. Get a little breathing room and the Heat are immortal again huh? Settle down Francis. That's why they play the games! |
