I was thinking of drafting Michael Turner with the 9th overall pick and then drafting Tom Brady in round 2.  Or maybe trying to get a top tier WR is rd 2, depending on who is available, and maybe getting Matt Ryan in rd 3.  It's a 12 team, PPR, with 1 QB, 2RB, 3 WRS, 1 TE, and 1 DEF.  Any thoughts?  I'm going to assume all the top tier RBS(Foster, Rice, AP) will be taken by the first 5 picks.  I'm not sure if I should draft a WR in rd 2 or not.  I'm thinking maybe Calvin Johnson might be available in rd 2 but the status of Matthew Stafford seems to be questionable on a week to week basis.  I'm willing to listen to any reasonable suggestions...

I'd imagine all top RBs will be gone. I'd go Andre Johnson at your postion, if he's there very few to tier WRs this year, or Mendenhall, Turner, or McCoy in that order of preference. In 2nd definitely go RB or WR again. There are a lot of QBs that should give same #s this year so you should be able to wait 'til round 3 or 4 or even later and be ok. GL

McCoy is a good pick at #9 especially in a PPR league..  he's vicks "outlet" when he's pressured and hurried and with the way the eagles O-Line is this year i know he'll be pressured alot..if u look at the preseason already Vick has targeted McCoy alot in only a few quarters of action so far...... in a PPR league i would rank McCoy 2nd or 3rd behind Foster then Hilllis/Charles would be my targets at RB.   Forte' is a nice option as a #2 RB in a PPR league along with Ahmad Bradshaw, Jahvis Best and Steven Jackson..   GL and remember PPR league's differ alot from STD leagues..  WR's like Fitzgerald, Wayne,Lloyd, Jennings and Bowe are better options due to the PPR then a guy like DeSean Jackson or Miles Austin.. Santana Moss is a nice option in a PPR league due to the amount of times he's targeted, same with Brandon Marshall but Roddy White should be your #1 target at that position with a PPR scoring format..

try to get names like Reggie Bush and Sproles as solid BN guys especially with a PPR scoring league.

Lot of really good advice in this.
If McCoy's available at #9 in a PPR though, I desperately want to play in this league lol.

Don't even think about Turner at #9 in a PPR. Not sure he's even a top 30 overall pick in PPR leagues.

Thanks for the advice, ecspecially to you, phillyfan.  I would like to try and draft McCoy with the 9th pick but I highly doubt that he will be available in that spot.  I wouldn't mind drafting Roddy White or Andre Johnson though if McCoy or Ray Rice are already taken.
