#279 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:21:07 PM At no time in this 4th quarter, did the Patriots run a play that would have resulted in a 1st down. |

#287 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:23:21 PM This is why the argument is made that there's too many preseason games. If you paid $50 to go see that garbage hole of a game...you'd be irrate. Patriots ran the ball 80% of the time the 2nd half...and Eagles knew it was coming every time. |

#289 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:25:44 PM Yeah the Pats quit playing at the start of the 4th Quarter, lol. And I lost some money. You wouldn't think the home team would just quit like that. Damn shame...

Preseason hasn't changed much over the years. Teams have been charging full price forever. To fans like myself who buy as many Steelers tickets as I can every year, I know better than to pay $100 for an exhibition game. However, season ticket holders around the league have no choice but to take it up the behind and then try to sell the preseason tickets for maybe half their money back. The NFL is very greedy but at some point you have to realize that you're screwing your fans. Make the tickets half price for season ticket holders or give them the option to not buy them at all. |
