What would the Knicks be without Jeremy Lin?

I must admit I came into this game today thinking Mavs by 10.....Yeah, this Jeremy Lin kid is on this streak.....but some fairy princess has waved a wand and sprinkled some kind of magic pixie dust on this Knick team......and Jeremy Lin is that magic dust.....

We've all been laughing at the Knicks.....I loved being able to fade the Knicks and to know that most nights they would hit a bad quarter and score like 10-12 points and put themselves out of a lot of games.....

I can't do that anymore because of Jeremy Lin.....Suddenly Knicks are in the top 3-4 teams in the league

I think the Kid is the league MVP.

hes mvp/most improved player/6th man of the league/dpoy/ best offensive player/gq's best dressed/walter payton award/ and finals mvp even if they dont make it that far.

if the Knicks continue to win at least 60 % of their remaining games and they are top 4 tops in the east and Lin is averaging around 22-24 pts a game and close to 10 assists (we can scrape the TOs as long as they continue to win) ..

he'd definitely get my vote.

Well they would the #8 seed instead of the #4 seed. What would the Cavaliers be without Lebron???...oh wait.

It was Melo that told coach to give Lin a shot. 

I think he'll make it work, b/c the more it works, the more Melo can take credit.

Melo could be pursuaded if he really wants that ring. Lin has only been a starter for 2 weeks, helluva story, want to see what kind of adjustments the league has in guarding him from here on in. I think if he dishes to Melo, he could attempt to break the league record 31 assists in a game.

Melo will have to completely change the way he's always played basketball since he was at Syracuse......I don't think he can do that....

You watch.....they're going to start Melo and the team will start to slide.....then what?....you bench Melo;....

Melo is the type of layer that wants to win, but he wants to win HIS way and he wants to be the reason they win. I will  be shocked if inserting him back into the lineup doesn't screw up the great chemistry they have going on. Who actually thinks Melo is ready to be just "one of the guys"??? Lin won't get many more assists passing to Melo because Melo is a straightup ball-stopper. Dude gets the ball and then holds the ball for 2-3 seconds and just goes into iso-mode. Some things will never change...

I'm pretty sure D'Antoni could care less because they're 8-1 with Lin running the show. He can average 10 TOs for all they care as long as they keep winning.

Amare,Melo,Lin,Tyson,Baron,Smith and the rest are a threat in the East, WHO wants to face this team in the first round of the playoffs ? 
This team looked unstoppable against the mavs.

To me I still thinks the Knicks are a mess.  They just added a whole bunch of players and got lucky and found a diamond in the rough with J.Lin.  But you gonna need more than that to beat the Bulls or Heat.  Those additions won't get the Knicks any further than they got last year. If the Knicks don't get out of the 7th and 8th spot, they won't make it out the first round of the playoffs.

I still think this team is a mess.  And Jeremy Lin is only a stop gap for the time being.  Dude is logging way too many minutes when he's not used to a NBA schedule.  And by the time the playoffs get here, or even maybe before that, he's gonna be out of gas.

The Knicks might actually win a game or 2 in the playoffs, maybe.  But at the end of the day, they aren't better than Miami or Chicago.
