#3 Posted: 5/20/2012 1:27:40 AM Very unlikely pacers get past both the heat and the celtics. Also OKC has a very tough task ahead against SA.
So low chance it happens. |

yup but in a conference that all teams rely on offense (the spurs have the most fluent and efficient). It ll be interesting to see what they will do against those defensive based teams in the east. |

#6 Posted: 5/20/2012 1:37:28 AM well the heat are still favored to win the series (-140) and so are the celtics (-145) vs the 6ers
and you have to think the spurs are favored to get by okc
still....nba needs to start rigging these games. because it could happen and that would be the end of the nba's popularity. if you remember, bird and magic brought the nba back from the drug days of old where nobody showed up to watch the nba

#7 Posted: 5/20/2012 1:58:03 AM OKC vs BOS would just be a complete disaster jus based on the youth of okc and the age of bos and the last couple results head to head. I think yeah ind/okc matchup would bad for the league but would be entertaining

#8 Posted: 5/20/2012 2:01:30 AM NBA is already rigging games. Why would Miami lose? They have THREE all stars, no other team in the league has THREE all stars. Each one can carry a team. They have mario chalmers, who put's up good #s. Haslem and Anthony for the dirty work. Young gun norris cole. Miller and Battier perimeter defenders. Too much bets on the HEAT, Vegas would not want to lose money. They rather lose viewers, because gambling makes them more money. |

the Bos okc played earlier in the season was a diff team than the one at the end. Celtics have the best defense in the NBA right now and OKCs weakness is their halfcourt offense, so it could get interesting |

#11 Posted: 5/20/2012 2:06:22 AM I would love to see a Boston/ San Antonio match up. Two fundamentally sound team with great coaching. Expect the Xs and Os to come out should it happen. |

#12 Posted: 5/20/2012 2:08:07 AM Why the darn is everyone and their mothers on OKC in the finals? I see Spurs in 6 at the WCF. Boston might be in the finals as well. It can be the old farts versus the old farts in the finals. |

Old stars with their last shot at the title, two of the best coaches in the NBA, Garnett vs Duncan, Defense vs Offense...that finals would be my wish |

The point of every team in the NBA is to win a championship. darn the ratings, if people wanna watch the NBA at it's best then who ever gets there gets there. If not then, might as well make the league only about 8 teams deep and get rid of the rest, since supposedly nobody wants certain teams in the Finals.
What's the point in playing then?

#16 Posted: 5/20/2012 3:58:32 AM is it just me but anyone else want to see okc vs miami??? i hope miami gets by indiana and this series can happen, even san antonio vs miami would be good, id bet san antonio for sure to beat miami
i think the most competitive series that could be possible for nba finals though would be miami heat healthy with bosh vs okc that would be a sick series i could see it go 6 or 7 games easy and have no clue who would win that series |

#20 Posted: 5/20/2012 4:21:23 AM Hey Peanut Butter and Jelly (PJ) to answer your question yeah everyone has been seeing OKC vs Miami in the finals. They were the preseason favorites. Problem is OKC is gonna have to go through the Spurs who so far the post season look like the greatest thing since sliced bread and the heat may not even get out of this series. They hit a road block in Indiana and look horrible |

#23 Posted: 5/20/2012 4:35:06 AM boston vs spurs this will be they way nba will go down at the end Tim duncan who is playing really good with his offensive team Spurs vs Keving Garnett who is defensivly and offensivly inside the paint with boston other three bringing the defense. This will be a high rating matchup tim duncan could retire and so can kg last battle see who gets the ring |
