#78 Posted: 5/9/2012 6:00:16 PM Man... My Swiss team almost beat Canada... Dang. I really like that team... They always seem to be in the games to the end. If they can find some additional scoring they would be dangerous.
Congrats on the nice day...
I know we are oppo on these but tomorrow I'm rooting for Belarus and Latvia to pull off the upsets... It's the dog in me... ... I like a good underdog.
I don't think Denmark can handle the Russian for an entire 60 minutes so Yes... Russia for the win.
Finland beats France easily 5-0...
I have been aweful on totals so I'm laying off of those from here on out...
Friday's Thoughts - Preview... Can Kazakstan shock team USA...??? The Czech's can and will beat Italy... I like Finland over Canada and Sweden over Russia. I will definitely try and watch both games at once... It sucks that they start one hour apart.
Some good games to watch...
Good Luck Dude... |

They have had problems scoring but should get some numbers vs team Spags...
Czech 2-0 win vs Denmark =
Czech 1-4 loss to Sweden
Czech 4-3 win vs Norway =
Czech 3-1 win vs Latvia =
Not sure they deserve to be a -8000 powerhouse line... but the Spags suck. |

#86 Posted: 5/11/2012 1:45:37 AM Would love input on the USA/Khazakstan game...
USA highest scoring efficiency in the tournament.
Khazakstan one of the worst Penalty Kills in the league, and one of the most Penalized teams in the league....
-3.5 spread for the USA (-115) juice.
darn me to be laying 3.5 goals and laying big juice on an IIHF hockey game.
I think its a necessary play. (sorry for triple posting) |

#88 Posted: 5/11/2012 8:25:39 AM Posting from the phone as I stand in line replacing my lost DL so it won't look as official LOL.
USA -3.5 over Kazakhstan
USA/Kazakhstan o6
Can easily see this game wind up being like their 7-2 victory over France
Czech Republic -3 over Italy
Czech Republic/Italy o6
Finland PK over Canada
Finland/Canada o5
It surprises me that an unbeaten Finnish team is only a PK over a Canada team that while outside of two blowout wins, one close win and an OT loss to the USA would garner such respect. This should be a -1 IMO
No play on Russia/Sweden because I see it going either way because despite Sweden just being flat out dominant its versus a Russian team that clearly has some close if not better Goaltending

#92 Posted: 5/11/2012 10:49:09 AM Kaz tied up USA at 1-1 with just over one minute remaining in the 2nd period... I was on a LIVE betting page and saw it go into "Changing/Stand By mode" just before the Kaz goal... I kept it on the LIVE wager page while watching the last minute of the 2nd period...
With about 12 seconds remaining the LIVE wager page had reloaded with a 2nd period 3-way line that included DRAW+260 so I dumped some cash on it and it accepted my wager... then AFTER the period ended the LIVE DRAW+260 option was STILL THERE ... So I dumped even more money on it...
A couple of minutes after the period ended... My wagers PAID and my balance was now 2.6 times greater...
HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,...
ABOUT TIME THAT I CAUGHT A BREAK LIKE THAT... |

#95 Posted: 5/11/2012 3:08:12 PM Currently 4-3 Canada with about eight minutes remaining. Not sure why or how so many could have wagered on Finland in this game. An absolute wasted wager in my opinion. Heck Canada is by far the stronger of the two clubs and to have gotten this game at a pick'em was a complete and utter joke. Canada shouls have been at least a two-goal favorite over the Finnish team. No friggin contest and it`s currently showing as I conclude this post. |

Really BRAVE of you to post when up 4-3 in the 3rd period... Where were you BEFORE the game or when Canada was losing 2-0 to Finland...???
By the way... What do you think of Kazakhstan... Will they be able to hang with team USA...???
Do you think the Czech's (-5 goal PL) is good vs Italy...???
I's really like to hear your superior insight for the rest of today's completed games... |

I REALLY DID NOT THINK CANADA WAS STRONGER, BUT PROVED ME WRONG. AND THE RUSSIA/SWEDEN GAME WENT AS I THOUGHT, YA NEVER KNOW, JUST DIDN'T KNOW SO MANY GOALS WOULD BE SCORED.
