After a tough loss last night that should have hit, we move along to a big card today on MLK day.

First play

Washington +5 V Houston
---
houston has been very hot especially ATS, but they still are no picnic on the road and their defense is horrid. I think it boils down to 2 things as always.

1.Matchups
the matchup is not really great for Houston. They are short and unathletic in the post, . When Dalembert is in it hurts their offense, especially against a young athletic team like washington..

I don't know... DC, MLK day... BIG DEAL?

2. The Rockets are hot as hell ATS... and the line is sinking ..

Under 182 Portland V New Orleans
-----
Just to me seems like a great under game. Lot of tall guys clogging up the lane for both teams, neither squad has great shooting and the match ups are solid from front to back...

It will really depend on the benches.

GL

Got on Washington this morning at 5.5....however opposite your total. Thanks for your time, I look daily for your plays to match up what I have. I had time this morning and already submitted or I probably would've layed off the total or atleast asked your opinion. You're on a sick run

Rode with you last night on that over and it seemed very fishy at the end. Riding with you tonight on Washington as well. Good luck to us!

Teams score around 2.5 points per minute each.

We needed 10 points total in four mins and we got 6 lol...

the way it went down was peculiar, should have laid off when I saw the line go down.

I think its a very tough game to cap. The Line is wicked high, I think its a bit inflated, but when a line is this inflated one can infer that vegas must know something.

I think that toronto matches up pretty well with bargniani but is he playing?

I will honestly Tell you this my system says take toronto.

But my gut says lay off this game.

Another play:

Celtics +3 V Ok City
-----
This is actually an advantageous matchup for the Celtics and although they have sucked balls this is a game they should win on paper and certainly a game they need.

match up wise, durant is a big threat but pierce is the perfect size and style of player for him. Allen is not able to be followed by anyone but westbrook, maynor is gone and Harden is not a great match for allen.

rondo has the quickness and athleticism to stay with Westbrook, obviously westbrook is a bit more effective on offense, but I think rondo can aggravate him and so can bradley off the bench.

O'neal is terrible on D, but, Perkins is also terrible on offense and this is a game where the celtics might expose some of the things they learned about him in practice over the years. Like how he has to power dribble every time even though he is 7 fuckin feet tall...

anyways... Celts need a win, ok city is due for a loss, and the matchup favors the Boston Geriatrics.

Got another couple plays cooking up for you guys...

Here is one I LOVE

Sacramento +7 V Minnesota
----------
So the kings are young, their coach has been fired already, and they are completely inconsistent. Okay i get that. They also have been morbid ATS, and mostly because when they lose, they lose BIG TIME.

Last game they only scored 60 points, as if they were OK ST or something, and lost by 30 points. They are on their 5th game of a road trip in which things have not gone so well...

but here is the deal...   this is the lowest line of the last 3 spreads...
and it comes against a team that is 8-4 ATS?
A team that is rock solid at home ATS?
I understand the minnesota has only won 4 games, but they are a darling when it comes to bettors, and frankly they don't match up particularly well with Sacramento at the 1 or the 5.

Hey IMP. I always enjoy your thread bro. You have any thoughts on the Mavs and Lakers game. Im kinda likin the Mavs here as far as the line, stats, and trends. Are the Lakers just being over-hyped because of Kobe's 40+ppg or am I missing something else. Any thoughts appreciated. Keep up the good work bro.

thanks bro for the compliment and here is my take.

I like the under in this game

I am posting :

UNDER 182 LAKERS V MAVS
------
Lakers are incredibly shallow at the guard positions right now, which is why kobe is playing extra mins and shootin the ball more.
They have gone over and lost their last 2 games and I think they know that with dallas's bench and their momentum from their last couple games they need to play this one in the half court. Plus they have an advantage down low.

I am also taking

LAKERS -4
----
Dallas is a tough team to bet against, but I think they are at such a disadvantage down low that their advantage in the 1 and 2 spot is completely negated. To me this has been a problem for dallas vs LA even when they had Chandler, and I think that Gasol and Bynum beat up on the mavs down low tonight.
