churchill downs race 8

10 WP

obviously I am aware of the chalkie.  she could be real tough but not necessarily invincible.  pattern, late speed, and distance could help this 10.  toughie we'll see.

4th at 12/1.  chalk wins again at even money.  gonna be a rough day for me if an odds on chalk wins every race.

church race 9

3 WP

10/1 on the tote.  i respect mucho but he can run evenly late and figs don't justify short priced chalkie versus these.  not expecting the so called bounce from the 1 he could be legit but playing against.  like 3 on speed/pace/stamina combo hopefully javy puts him right there and just guns it at the top of the lane just off the pace

2nd at 5/1.  damn he was 8/1 and then 5/1 in the last minute or so.  speed/pace/stamina.  mucho ran evenly late.

didn't like that race off the bench for the 2 the winner.  wasn't convinced he would fire today.

race 10 field of 13 3YO on the green as if it wasn't tough enough now we'll get a t-storm and the course will have some moisture.  maybe or maybe not enough to downgrade the course to "good" but nonetheless another variable.  the 10 has highest fig on good green but that was against cupcakes at FG.

i don't see any clear cut pattern with any of them on turf with moisture in it.

churchill 11

4 WP

15/1 on the board.  feel this is fairly wide open.  could see a more physically fit and healthy gal today.  should not have to be up front should be able to sit a little off it
