This game to many might look like a slam dunk for the Bruins but I don't see it that way. With possibity of Boychuck sitting out with injury and added fuel with Vanek inserted into The Islanders offence, well it becomes harder for the B's. It's nice seeing Iginla improving game after game but it seems like year after year injuries haunt the Bruins. Others on the team are really stepping it up though. Vanek being a Boston nightmare in their past will make this a higher scoring game. I'm thinking a Boston 5-3 win. Game will be close up until the third period.

Agree. All that offence is easily countered with rask and chara. Nabakov  (forgive spelling) has been too iffy for me.

Evgeni Nabokov overcame a shaky start and finished with 27 saves through 65 minutes before going 3-for-3 in the shootout. Capuano may opt to use backup Kevin Poulin on the second night of a back-to-back, as he's done both times before. However, Poulin has lost both games and struggled last Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers. "john kriesser nhl.c0m columnist"

I really think this game presents a opportunity for the islanders to have a  "spring board" game tonight...Boston has got the better of islanders as of late a bit of added motivation and it doesnt hurt that they are coming off a well earned win....Boston coming in thinking they got an easy W but im of the opinion they got another thing coming after watching islanders resiliency in a tough environment in ottawa.... going against the grain here "the public" .....and have no problem taking a home dog ....

Islanders 3 - Boston 2
