#1 Posted: 4/30/2012 1:00:28 AM I finished the regular season season with 65 wins 37 losses and 1 tie. That's roughly about 63.72% and I'm not happy about it. As some of you may have noticed, I took a vacation off after that devastating loss from my Philadelphia pick against the Pacers. So now, I've just waited for the first games of the first round to finish since we still don't know what these teams are capable of. And now we do.
The BULLS are capable of beating the Sixers in double digits even in the playoffs no doubt about that. However, I do believe that the injury Rose sustained would determine the outcome of the series. I say the SIXERS win this series 4 games to 3.
The HEAT have really dominated the Knicks all throughout the first game and I expect them to do likewise until game 4. I say that the HEAT would sweep the Knicks and go 4-0 ATS with that.
The PACERS-Magic battle would be a tough one. The Magic managed to get a steal at home and that would be a good morale booster. However, that wouldn't be enough to sustain the Pacers. Since the Pacers are wanting to head to the second round they would be giving the Magic a hard time. I say that the PACERS win this series 4-2.
The HAWKS are quite easy to predict. They can be up double digits at half and be just within a one possession ball game. However the Celtics would have to do better than defend the Hawks. With Rondo out game 2 (I'm about 70% positive he will be suspended, it was quite obvious the bump was intentional) I say the HAWKS would win the series 4-1 with a 4-1 ATS record.
The SPURS are quite as good as they should be and would not settle for another upset here. I say the SPURS sweep the Jazz with ATS records of 2-2.
The THUNDER are definitely great and LUCKY. That last shot by Durant was the dagger that killed the Mavs and the Mavs know pretty well that they could beat this young team. I say the MAVERICKS win the series 4-2. With Dallas winning games 2,3,4 and 6.
The LAKERS are definitely hot! I say really hot. Kobe now showing the real taste of the poisonous venom of the black MAMBA (it's a snake for those who don't know). I say the LAKERS sweep the Nuggets with an ATS record of 3-1.
The MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES just friggin lost that game one. WTF? You've got to be kidding me? Personally it's hard to predict this game since both teams are equally matched up and both of them could do daggers in both ends. I say NOTHING.
Now here are my records for wins on these 16 teams (ATS wise). Wins to losses respectively:
EAST Bulls 8-3 Heat 7-2 Pacers 4-2 Hawks 5-3 Celtics 3-6 Magic 4-7 Knicks 5-6 Sixers 11-6
WEST Spurs 8-2 Thunder 4-4 (I stopped playing them after my last loss with them) Lakers 8-5 Grizzlies 12-4 Clippers 11-4 Nuggets 3-5 Mavericks 8-4-1 Jazz 4-4
Of course some of these were not documented on my everyday posts but there's no use lying to you guys.
Playoff record: 0-0-0
For tomorrows games:
HEAT-9.5 PACERS-9 DALLAS+6.5 (even ML)
