#1 Posted: 4/8/2012 9:32:13 PM let me tell you something people. i really like this guy as a pitcher i feel that he is one of the more underrated guys out there. The only people that probably know about him are probably in texas, but this guy to me is very very reliable. The stats never lie whenever it comes to matt harrison. he will do whatever the stats speak. That's whether you are betting against him or betting on him. Credit is due when it's warranted and matt harrison is definitely the real deal. |

#7 Posted: 7/22/2012 5:12:11 PM and over 3 months later, i'm about to unload on the biggest best of the year for myself on matt harrison first 5 innings at -0.5 to cover the angels. Dan Haren is pitching coming off a back injury, darn him and his homer allowing bullshit, have you checked the numbers careerwise vs the texas lineup! it's absolutely fuckin' bullshit he hasn't allowed more than he has for any first 5 inning game in an angel uniform. obviously it won't be too damn lopsided in texas favor just because it's the angels, but mike trout as an example is 1-9 careerwise vs matt harrison with 3 strikeouts. i love that garbage man |

Harrison is a stud. It was like I said to someone last night when we took him at plus 101, no way I could pass him up at that price against Haren. Sure Haren is capable on any night as we all know, but we also all know how he has been this season as well. Sometimes you just gotta make the play and say fine, if it loses they got me but I really like him tonight. |

#19 Posted: 7/22/2012 8:02:38 PM angels lineup careerwise vs harrison:
trout 1/9 with 3 ks and no extra base hits, no walks hunter 1/15 with a hr, 4 walks, and 5 ks pujols 1/5 with a walk and no extra base hits trumbo 2/8 with a hr, double, and 2 walks, 2ks kendrick 4/12 with a hr, double, 1 walk, 2ks callaspo 4/24 with 1 walk, no extra base hits, 1k izturis 2/7 with 1 walk, no extra base hits, 1k bourjos 3/11 with 1 walk and 1 double, 1k wilson 1/2 with a double
this lineup is not going to do any damage vs texas tonight, not with matt harrison's numbers on the road coming in. The angels have not been able to cash on the ml first 5 innings vs harrison at angels stadium in checking the stats that go back to 2009. Dan haren has never been able to cash any ml win when he's pitching at home in an angel uniform vs texas. There has been a few ties, for both of tonights starting pitchers cases, but i am going to gamble that harrison wins on the ml first 5 innings at -0.5 with +110 odds.
