There are a few lower seeds that are favored over higher seeds. UConn (9) 2 over Iowa State (8) WV (10) 1 over Gonzaga (7) NC State (11) 2 over SD State Alabama (9) 1 over Creighton (8) Purdue (10) 1 over St. Mary's (7)
