Coach Monty Williams said he thinks Eric Gordon (knee) is still at least a week away from resuming strenuous workouts.
The Hornets are going to exercise extreme caution with Gordon's bone bruise. They are 4-21 and Gordon is about the only asset they have. It sounds like he'll begin testing himself with running and basketball activities sometime in the next 1-2 weeks and then be reevaluated. There's no official target date. "Everything I've heard from him is he feels good," Williams said.

Coach Monty Williams said there is nothing new to report on Eric Gordon (knee).

Six days ago, Williams said he thought Gordon was at least a week away from strenuous workouts. He is not ahead of schedule. "The situation is what it is. Blame it on LeBron James," said Williams. Gordon remains out indefinitely and won't be rushed back by the 4-23 Hornets.

Gordon (knee) is scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on his injured right knee on Tuesday and will be out at least an additional six weeks, the Associated Press reports.
