60% chance of rain Saturday.  LSU's running game hasn't been at its best of late.  Miss State D-Line is very stout and physical.  This game will be within a touchdown Saturday.

LSU coming off a very physical and draining weekend at Athens.  Miss State coming off a bye week to prepare.

Miss State +9  Book it.

LSU loses a tough one last week at Georgia, because their PASS DEFENSE was in DISARRAY!! I see LSU taking their frustrations this week against a WEAK Miss St team. I see this game being over by halftime!!

Final Score: LSU 49 Miss St 17

I feel that mississippi state has one of the best home feild advantages in the nation, they are the ONLY division 1 school that still allows COW BELLS in the stands, when the opponent is on offence you better believe that those cow bells will be ringing, making it very difficult for the offence to hear the play calls, this is a big advantage, even when miss.state has a weak team they are tough at home, I think this will be a close one, this line is perfect, I have not yet pulled the trigger and I am not sure if I will, but if I do I would purchase .5 of a point and go with miss. state+10, they lose, but in a close one

what you do to counter the "cowbell" advantage is get up by 3 TD's fast...then those cowbells turn into "fair weathered ding a ling's" pretty fast...

LSU is a wounded animal...I think they are good for a win and a cover here...

I know this series has been close, low scoring games in the past.  I don't see that tomorrow.  This isn't the normal LSU offense, it is balanced and has a top rate QB throwing to 2 NFL quality receivers.  Add a power running game with the usual stable of power backs and this is an offense that will wear down a pretty good MSU defense.  Cam Cameron has done a nice job at OC and the Tigahs will put up 30+.  While the defense looked suspect last week, there is no comparison between the offense they faced at Georgia last week.  The defense has been ripped by the fans and staff all week, I look for them to play like their hair is on fire and hold MSU to less than 2 TDs.

LSU has won 13 straight against Miss St, and Les Miles is 20-1 coming off a loss.  Lay the points.  Ride it hard boys.

LSU     31          MSU     13
