It's fairly clean its just there are friggin kids everywhere(except casino floor) A lot of S.E. Asian and they must not have a kidnapping of children problem there cause they don't give a garbage where their kids runaround. It's somewhere to sleep and you're near the center of strip with a little walk south.Cheap is good.

vegas is like life- in general , you get what you pay for - circus circus offers those low rates for a reason,,one of the bottom 5 hotels in all of vegas I would guess, funky smell and loud, obnoxious kids everywhere, all the time--cheap is good but thats IT , I would suggest elsewhere but your coin, your call

Amen, NC....

As I have said numerous times.....Vegas is the best value AT EACH LEVEL..........But you must understand what level you are at.

Most of the bitching in this forum concerning service, freebies, etc deals with people's misconception of what they are getting for what they are paying.

I always try to get newbies (especially) to not overestimate what is going to happen; but to enjoy what they are experiencing at the level that they are paying for.........Vegas still gives you MORE VALUE than anywhere....as long as you do not expect "something from nothing"...

PS:     The difference between Circus Circus and the MGM Grand is the difference between Branson, Mo and Vegas, Baby!

Circus Circus does have a decent steakhouse, and being a dad who takes his wife and kid with him to vegas every year, Its a great place to drop them off at the adventure dome and not see them again until 7 or 8 pm when all the games are reaching an end.

I'll give you that one- never tried the steakhouse but have heard nice reviews--thunderdome to keep kids occupied would serve a purpose as well so you do have a point--PASS for me tho,,,Enjoy Vegas

VG is right, you get what you pay for and I'll bet you can get equally cheap rates@ Excaliber (another Circus/Circus property) and be located a little closer to the action.I'll say this about these properties the buffets are cheap but they have wholesome food and a lot of fresh fruit. I always like to eat right in the morning GL.MGM is good too.

MGM was a way bette choice.  Circus Circus is dirty and you trip over kids all day.
