All right turbo, I will post the picks once only for this thread since you are interested in, what I mean by that is I don't wanna prove anything I'm good at, post it just because you want me to show.

Food for thought -

I had stopped sports betting since the end of the football season.  I got onto Covers and started to read this thread and got more excited about sports gambling again.  I would read various posts (including some from here) and try to cross reference guys on here that had solid write-ups, etc.  I would then put my own bias on top of that and I played $50 - $200 per play for about 2 weeks and I lost about $600.

So, here is my observation.  I wonder if I used the same strategy as before and did the same process and chose the teams and then I fade myself.  So, in effect, I am going against the general consensus from the threads and trying to win by going opposite what people think.  I might give it a try.

(Note - This is in no way a knock on this thread.  It is more about how using information from a lot of sources and then applying a personal bias appears to yield poor results and I want to try the opposite of this.  I like this thread.)

I do recognize that picking in this manner may be difficult b/c I know that if I am going to fade myself, does that effect the picks I make?  I guess we'll see.  I'll drop in the fade picks and we'll see how I do.

You asked for 3 picks from Turbo, yet you only provided 2?

Hmmm, you must tail Turbo... Are you trying to get all 6 of his picks tonight?  He was 5-1 with his leans Tuesday!

I only laugh at bad comments and oxymoron comments, when people post their picks I take them very seriously because I am always looking to get better- this game is not about you or this thread against you or against me- it is the small guys v. the books, v. vegas.

Here is what I started the day with nothing big but easily could be hedged. For the hedge I am waiting for the lines to move against me if they do I will tease the other ways those that could be close calls. This is a parlay and I will hedge and or double down accordingly with live bet and the 2H system that is being worked on by the Pauls-

[Ticket #: XXXXXXXXX] PARLAY (9 TEAMS)

04/04/2013 @ 07:05 PM NBA

[701] TOTAL o184-150 (B+2)

(CHICAGO vrs BROOKLYN)

04/04/2013 @ 07:05 PM NBA

[702] BROOKLYN -3-150 (B+2)

04/04/2013 @ 09:05 PM NBA

[703] TOTAL o206-150 (B+2)

(DALLAS vrs DENVER)

04/04/2013 @ 09:05 PM NBA

[704] DENVER -5-150 (B+2)

04/04/2013 @ 09:35 PM NBA

[705] TOTAL o200-150 (B+2)

(SAN ANTONIO vrs OKLAHOMA CITY)

04/04/2013 @ 09:35 PM NBA

[706] OKLAHOMA CITY -6-150 (B+2)

04/04/2013 @ 10:50 AM

OPEN PLAY

04/04/2013 @ 10:50 AM

OPEN PLAY

04/04/2013 @ 10:50 AM

OPEN PLAY

$50 for $7,406.62

As far as the line movements are concerned I was on time for the Over in CHI, too early for the over in SA and so far just in time or the over in Denver  FYI I always buy 2- unless a 1 makes it PK on spreads.

Ps. I always start my day with a my home run play then if I fall behind or in trouble I try to win the game with bunts singles doubles and the occasional squeeze play. The hedge may be full or partial teaser that will include NCAA or it may be a small parlay of ML and unders in the last two games or something of that nature. I have lots of open spots to fill that is another way to capitalize today thanks to the open bet system. If the lines keep moving against me it only increases the amount of points in the teaser to middle.

I was about to say the same thing but I think he is waiting for the spurs lines to stop moving- Remember people it is only $50 very low risk. The teaser will most likely be less but enough to cover this bet.

BKN Nets  -5

Over 207  DEN Nuggets - DAL Mavericks

OKC Thunder  -7.5

Last night showed that all the clinched playoff teams are gearing up for their playoff run and fighting for playoff positioning.  I like all the Home teams tonight.  I left out Nuggets and went for the Over because the Mavericks are the only team that have not clinched a spot (and may be on the outside looking in) in this scenario.  I know that would normally lead one to believe the Mavericks (do they know what it is) will give a good defensive effort.  But who is going to keep the nuggets out of the paint, Dirk?

Let's go gents!

Eryximaque 41-35-1

Under 202.5 OKC Thunder - SA Spurs

Over 185.5 BKN Nets - CHI Bulls

My book is always offering this odd, despite the RLM.
Like the over, when BKN shoot is really high %fg, and Nets allow opponent many shoots.
Many injuries, no rest for Nets should be affect defense.
Referees like over games
Many trends on over.

Jpaco 47-47-2

Under 188 BK Nets - CHI Bulls

if chi wants to win they need to stop bk off since chi deff is good enough and chi off is just awful so bk def won't have problem. Even its rlm i still don't see this being high scoring game

Under 207 DEN Nuggets - DAL Mavericks

dal def shows up tonight to still have a chance on the 8th seed even theyre far from it

Under 200 OKC Thunders - SA Spurs

tight def both team and every play will be crucial since okc trying to steal no. 1 spot in the west

BRK Nets -4.5

DAL Mavericks +7

OKC Thunder -7.5

nets at home off long road trip and are playing good ball.. bulls will find a way to let spread slip in the 4th qtr and nets pull it out in the end.

mavericks i'm fading the public here as according to bookmaker roughly 80% on denver.. feel mavs keep it close hoping to cling to whatever playoff hopes they have. plus denver on b2b..

thunder just feel this spread is set too high to not be a blowout.. line completely indicates to me a thunder DD win.. unless spurs are sitting dudes and i didn't care to look haha.. either way still like thunder by DD tonight, thunder care more tonight.

tough day to choose, and with baseball going not a lot of basketball capping going on by me.. but i'm confident i got at least 2 out of 3 here.. weary on Dallas but i'll trust dirk.. good luck guys!!!

My reasoning though short was that both teams were rested and prepared and that if Utah was going to win this game they would have to be defensively superior and slow the pace. Was a must win for both teams but Utah more so than Denver. Utah's home record vs Nuggs road record convinced me that Utah would be 'in' this game at least for the 1H.
Curious of your reasoning for the no play??

Correct the 3 ML should be a good idea but payout will be low- I am doing this with open spots meaning I may start at the half. Not sure yet need to see how the first game goes- wished the 3 was around 10:30pm but no control over that.
