#1 Posted: 9/4/2010 6:13:03 PM The Padres, as well as the Reds, are like the Rays of 2008. Come off a poor season and play as good of baseball as anyone while everyone continues to say, "they'll come back to earth soon". Well...are the Padres "coming back to earth" or is this just simply a slump that every team goes through during a 162 game season?
Thoughts? |

#4 Posted: 9/4/2010 6:37:31 PM considering before this streak they never lost 4 in a row... i believe the consistency throughout the season shows this is just a slump.. every team goes through it besides the YANKS

#6 Posted: 9/4/2010 7:12:45 PM That lineup is terrible, those pitchers werent going to keep winning for 162 gms. True colors is my vote

#7 Posted: 9/4/2010 7:14:37 PM They have been teasing getting it close last couple games only to not come through. I won't bet them again until they show they can win a couple. At this point the pirates are hitting better than the Padres this week.

#11 Posted: 9/4/2010 8:48:21 PM just see how Cabrera was laughing when he misplayed a routine groundball at SS and let a run in when the inning should have been over
