#1 Posted: 4/7/2012 4:50:12 PM Ready to jump in to some MLB action. Had a pretty good year last season and look to continue that in 2012.
When I cap MLB lines, I'm not capping the matchup. I'm capping the line. Pretty much all of my plays are at the opener, and my sole goal is not to predict who will win but try to beat the closing line. If I beat the closing line, I feel confident I will be in the green.
Because I'm betting the opening line, you'll probably see me posting plays for the next day's card. I'm always trying to stay ahead of the curve, trying to hit soft numbers before the market moves them.

Also good to see Pinnacle move this line down to +167 already. As long as it stays around that numbers (and I expect it to move down a bit more) I'm happy with the play win or lose. |

I really didn't understand this opener, especially when you consider that Danks/Lewis closed -175/+165 on Friday and Peavy/Holland closed -165/+155 on Saturday. Truth be told, there really isn't much difference between Danks, Peavy, Floyd or Lewis, Holland, and Harrison. This line really ought to be around -170/+160. It opened about 20 cents too high, so I was glad to take the +180. Down to +167 at Pinnacle so a good sign already. |
