One year, my family (us kids) sponsored a family for Christmas. We got a gift list, shopped for them, and dropped everything off at their home.  Us 5 "kids" spent the afternoon shopping (it was stuff from toys to a vacuum cleaner) and then went out for drinks and something to eat.  A great excuse to get together as a family (we had a blast) and the family we helped was very nice and extremely grateful.  Did not give off a sense of entitlement.....just weren't going to be able to afford a regular Christmas without help.  One of the best Christmases we've ever had.

The world needs more people like you, Crash. Hope to be fortunate enough to be able to do the same one day.
