#26 Posted: 2/1/2012 3:16:06 PM Just my two cents...If Hawes were playing, I'd be on the Sixers..but couple that w Noah's recent play I think the Bulls' big men dominate tonight. It'll be close bc the Sixers are deeper at the moment due to injuries.
But I am w you on the Jazz. |

#27 Posted: 2/1/2012 3:16:37 PM Chicago is the lock of the day at -2. 76ers cant stop average PGs let alone Derrick Rose. They have no big man on their roster other than Tony Battie and an undersized Elton Brand. Bulls -2 with the under at 179 (two of the top defensive teams in the league) is a lock |

This line is a representation of public perception and public perception alone. Vegas wants a 50-50 split and they're going to get it with this line. But the truth is, Philadelphia is the better team playing at home.
Wait, Philly is a better team than Chicago?

Bulls definitely have the edge underneath. Philly needs to win this game on the wings with the injuries the Bulls have to Deng and Hamilton. And they gotta be hot on the 3-point shot because second chances and inside buckets won't come easy. They are capable of running hot from deep though.

Have you ever watched the Sixers play.
You dont need a star when you have 8 guys who are all above average, very consistant nba players |

I agree 100%. They are far and away the best team in the NBA right now. Don't garner much attention though, which is surprising but likely bc there is no "star" as you said. Media likes the big mouths. Couple that with the fact they are @ home and a dog and it's almost free money. Only time will tell of course.
