Exactly. Arguably, the first 35 minutes are just a pre-show to the last 5 minutes (the real game) when scores change +/- 10 points in less than a minute, at times.
Excellent example was Northwestern @ Minnesota the other night. Was a total snooze-fest for the first half (17-14 Minny). Second half was a blowout/separate game in itself: 52-37 Minny (in the second half ALONE!)
Matter of fact, I get more nervous when my teams get off to a large lead. I've seen more come-from-behind wins than I have seen a team hold that large lead they've established so quickly. |
