#3 Posted: 8/1/2012 3:59:24 PM still in the hunt to bring in the Sacramento Kings. Sonics to come back but I am more into the NHL in Seattle. Those Hockey haten Seattlelites need both to survive. |

#5 Posted: 8/2/2012 2:10:52 AM It's not really saying much, but Seattle is easily the most promising U.S. city without an NHL team. |

#6 Posted: 8/2/2012 10:26:08 AM It might just happen. It is the "next in line" for a Team. Canucks are the only team in the area and it is $$$$ to get a seat so anytime the Nucks are in Seattle or Detroit, Maple Laughs, Mtl., Jets? they will get more than most of the U.S. Markets. B.C. residents are all over Western Washington. |

#8 Posted: 9/25/2012 4:32:25 PM Seattle Couns. voted 6-2 to build it!!! Who gives a $hit what Gar Betass thinks, like I said Seattle should have and will have a NHL team. The amount of B.C. er's going south means $$$ and Fairy Bettman will have to face it. They will also get an NBA team as well |

#9 Posted: 9/25/2012 4:48:54 PM No chance Oil go there, I would like to think that Edmonton is smarter then that and they will come to deal. Having said that the fact that Seattle is in the mix is to me. |

#10 Posted: 9/25/2012 6:13:39 PM There are some $hitty u.s. markets that need to re locate and Seattle is the pick... It is when not if a team goes there. There is an underground hockey market in the Greater area and lets face it but B.C. residents are lined up to go South. It is about time Seattle gets on board like the rest of the northern states. |

I sure hope not, Teams need to stay in Canada not leave! Oil will get it done. Calgary will have there freeway rival just like the Canucks will. |

#14 Posted: 10/15/2012 8:04:19 PM Apparently, the county approved the new arena today, with Seattle city council voting tonight:

I would love to see a new NHL team 2 hours down the I-5, but obviously the new owner is completely focused on NBA. There was an article in one of the local (Vancouver) papers recently that quoted him, or someone close to him, as saying an NHL team would be great, but is not a priority.

#15 Posted: 10/16/2012 6:22:31 AM Just what the NHL needs---another negative fan base in the U.S. Then again with this nutcase of a U.S. president that's been screwing the league over from top to bottom, hell yeah Seattle may just get a franchise afterall. You know if would take five NHL sellouts in Seattle to top just one NHL sellout in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada! That's no bullshit either and I'm sure there are some knowledgeable U.S. NHL supporters out there who know this is a true statement. Without a doubt, the NHL is not in a good position to expand at all, let alone to the U.S. |

#16 Posted: 10/23/2012 5:59:20 PM Yeah I heard the League is sick of all the rioting pussies wearing Bieksa jerseys lighting cars on fire so they will go to Seattle.
