you've been here north of 12 months yet only started on thread, where in 2011 you called out people's "misperceptions" of the spurs and celtics, proclaiming they would make the nba finals.  you idiot, the celtics made the finals in 2010, wasn't it obvious they were on tired legs in 2011?

the spurs as the 1 seed, become just the second 1 seed since the 1st rd went to best of 7, to actually lose to the 8th seed in the first round!!!  to memphis no less!!!

and the celtics got smashed 4 games to 1 to the heat in the 2nd round,

NICE CALL LOSER!!!

What lesson?

I dont think many will argue he may go 1st round...Most will tell you he shouldnt. Mel has to keep him there to save face.

may go 1st round?

jimmythefreaky freak was/is/continues to be pretty sure he will NOT go first round,

same thing with lsu fast eddie,

here is the difference between lifetime winning bettors vs lifetime losing ones,

it's not about MAY go first round,

it is a virtual certainty

wrong. better team won.  we are not in the class of bama, i knew it before the game, during it, and after.

you will not find a SEC outsider who respects the conf MORE than i do.  many respect it as much as i do, but no one does MORE.

i am always always always defending the SEC against the haters.

but, on this Manti thing, the kid is a dumbass off the field and naive as hell, but he's a heckuva football player and he will do just fine, believe me.

1st rounder

Football speed? Like when BAMA ran over, around and through him?

He looked fantastic

No way there are 20 or 30 players better than him in the draft

Hell, I'd probably take every player coming out this year from BAMA before I let manti try out for waterboy.

as Jon Gruden said on ESPN last night, Bama OL made A LOT of LB's in the country look very average all year.

Georgia had a very very good D and Bama ran roughshod over them.

one bad game where his DL in front did absolutely nothing to protect him, does not make a career.

LMAO no one is saying he is great, at least i am not, what i am saying is that he is not AS BAD as you SEC cawk lickers are saying he is,

which is why EVERY REPUTABLE mock draft has him going first round

ESPN has been covering for the Frankenstein they created since the story broke.  No way will anyone drawing a paycheck from ESPN be allowed to give an honest opinion of this azz-clown.

After watching all of Notre Dame's games when handicapping the national championship game, I said Manti happy'o was not a 1st round talentPrior to that I counted myself as a happy'o fan.  But after watching him closely, it became pretty obvious that he was, like the Honey Badger before him, almost entirely a media creation, and did not deserve to win any of the awards he won.  I said Alabama would expose him, and they did.

ESPN will do everything they can to save face which is why they are profusely marketing happy'o as a 1st round talent when anyone with a respectable football IQ knows he isn't.  In other words, if happy'o is not selected in the 1st round of the NFL draft, the second biggest loser will be ESPN's dwindling reputation as a legitimate news source.  I repeatedly posted (albeit on another board) not to get caught up in the ESPN Notre Dame hype.  ESPN had a game to sell, and that's exactly what they did.  Virtually none of their Notre Dame analysis had much basis in reality.

All of that said, happy'o could still possibly be drafted in the 1st round because several teams are in need of inside linebacking help, and because the inside linebacker class this year is particularly weak.  Unfortunately the team most likely to waste a 1st round pick on this clown is my favorite team - the Minnesota Vikings.  Historically the Vikings have been per-disposed to drafting Big 10/Notre Dame players.  They took Notre Dame's Harrison Smith with the 29th overall pick last season.  Will the Vikings be the team that will salvage ESPN's happy'o reputation???  Will they be like Notre Dame bettors and continue to buy the ESPN hype???  Only time will tell.

Buffalo picks 8th, so there is zero chance they take Gey'o.  My Vikings, on the other hand, have a need at ILB and have the 23rd & 25th picks.  They won't take him with the 23rd pick, but could very well take him with the 25th.  If the Vikes are going to take another Golden Domer in the 1st round, at least take Tyler Eifert - a legitimate selection.  If the Vikings pass on him with both picks, there is a chance Green Bay takes him at 26.  If Gey'o slips past 26, barring some last minute trade maneuvers, he won't be drafted in the 1st round.

now the 40 time has dropped to 4.71

http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2013/story/_/id/9100200/manti-teo-runs-40-unofficially-471-notre-dame-fighting-irish-pro-day

but go ahead and keep thinking that one bad game vs the best OL in the country and an online relationship that was a fraud, is going to keep him out of the 1st round
