Franklin and starting center both injured knees and did not return. Murphy our kick returner dislocated a finger. All may play, but none will be 100% -Bama is #1 in the nation on defense and Mizzous offense is 95th. Those stats are misleading as a big chunk of that is from the opening game vs SE Lou. Mizzou is averaging 18 ppg since then -Mizzous defense has kept them in games, but they wear down in 2nd halfs cuase the offense cant keep the ball. #54 Posted: 10/9/2012 9:35:36 AM Damnit...I have WV bet...Now their Mayor just jinxed the garbage out of them!!!! After riots in morgantown..mayor considering putting it on the students!!
Manilla told media outlets he is considering asking the university to assess a $20 student-impact fee for each WVU student each semester. The fee would generate about $1.2 million in revenue for the city annually.

Because Bama didnt play last week so they werent fresh in the mind, its a road game, and Mizzou continues to be overvalued just like every game this year (of course they won SU as a dog @ UCF, but should have lost that game). Didnt cover vs SE Lou,UGA, Az St,So Car, or Vandy......
I have a better read on my team than vegas. Ive been dead on every game except UGA cause my heart got in the way. I leaned UCF, but didnt play it. If Mizzou can put up double digits they deserve to cover. I think they'll be luck to get 10 1st downs let alone 10 points.....

#61 Posted: 10/9/2012 10:36:11 AM You're not worried about Bama's mid-seasos slumps... year after year they go through a down cycle...
'09- tennessee game (week 8)
'10- U of SC (week 6)
'11 LSU...
OK... that's the best I got... the closest game last year (outside LSU) was 16 points.....I'M ON BAMA TO!!!

I just know Mizzou is not the team Bama can have troubles with. We have no threat at wide receiver nor anyone to get them the ball if we did. Our o line is a disaster. This game will be won in the trenches (like most), and MU simply doesnt have the horses to pull the wagon.

I would take FSU and NCST both by double digits as well in this game.
Mizzou doesnt expect OR hope to win. They know this game is lost. Expect to see a gutless performance from the 2nd quarter on......

#65 Posted: 10/9/2012 2:56:09 PM Look for Bama to have a lot of knocked down passes. I watched Mizzou against Vandy and their QB has a telegraphic delivery. And it is slow too Gilligan says. |

#68 Posted: 10/9/2012 3:51:00 PM I like the reasoning on Bama. The line movement bothers me though. LV knows that everyone is betting Bama. They'd get more Bama money even if they opened at 23. Something doesn't seem right.
Ah, WTF. I'm on Bama, too. |

Vegas opened it up a little higher at 21 and moved to 21.5 right away. With all the talk of MU not being able to score I am leaning towards the 1H under and game under. Not available yet but should be 43 when it comes out. |
