I know the original Sabbath is the only but just a chance to see these boys know how to do it as well........on the 07-09  t00r for WSP

Sabbath absolutely...never saw them due to being 4 when they broke up but I know there is only one band that could pull that song off is Panic. cheers

You are absolutely drunk with Widespread Panic juice if you truly believe WSP is the only band capable of pulling off this song. Absolutely nutso.

the 1st 2 Sabbath albums were influenced by jazz and blues, this cover is par for the coarse i suppose

This doesn't makes sense. Why the first two albums and not the rest? They didn't change their sound after Paranoid. Besides all rock is influenced by jazz and is basically just an extension of the blues.

I don't recall reading anything about Keith Moon or John Bonham citing jazz as an influence which Bill Ward always did, might be wrong though.

after master of reality Sabbaths sound started to get more and more what could be called "prog rock"

I'm just saying a bad like Widepread Panic covering a old Sabbath tune isn't that far fetched, Cake did War Pigs a few moons ago
