first of all, thanks to everyone contributing to this thread this season and to Mavin for starting it. I was out of country for a few weeks, so stopped posting completely. Haven't seen much of the series, I think I am just going to play totals tonight. Both teams should be tired with a quick turn around and playing OT on Tuesday. Game 7 - every possession matters, teams will play slower.

Under 188.5 MIA Heat - SA Spurs

Quoting monster killer who's been killing it at the finals
"After last night I am convinced in the outcome of these series and those with great love for the game may want to avoid reading what I am about to write. Not that I don't love this game – I adore it in addition to love and all that jazz, but we're in this business long enough to know the difference between the great show and the real game of basketball. By the real game of basketball – the series should have ended yesterday and I will reveal the little secret here: before the series have began – I heard mr Raanan Katz – one of the co-owners of the Heat who also used to be one of the co-owners of Maccabi TA and is a very generous and kind man – answer  some reporter over the phone interview broadcast on a private channel as to the number of the games the series are most probably going to go. Now, this is not a young man and what he already forgot I still have to learn about professional sports and I am not that young myself, and he never he gives foolish predictions about anything when asked – it is like asking Don Corleone how many hits he has ordered – and this man answered without thinking twice – Seven. Yeap. That is the absolute recount of something I heard with my own ears. And when he says Seven – it means Seven. Not six, not five and not four but Seven. And if you noticed what happened on the last attack by Miami when down precisely 3 points since the Spurs left them a chance with a missing free throw: POP is the European style coach who in a similar case 10 out of 10 times would order his troops to send the Heat to the line with 2 free throws, but not here where the game was at its most decisive point. Not only that – after allowing LBJ an open 3 pointer which he missed – suddenly Bosh was able easily to collect the ball and give it to Allen for another almost uncontested 3 pointer. And believe me if he missed – Miami would again get the ball and try another 3 pointer with 5.9 seconds left and another until they would tie the game and if the last one would not go in – there would be a foul given for 3 points or a 2 and 1 lay up. They would play until the series would not go to game Seven. Because of all that and because SA is a better team overall and because no one would say LBJ choked again and because he took off his stupid bandana off – all this is already an old news and no one will raise an eyebrow for SA winning it all . They're a team and NBA owes it to POP and no one wants Miami to get another ring so soon and they will get a shot at it again the next season.

SA Spurs +6.5  -110  5 units

Thanks to all that contributed to this amazing gathering of minds.

I was late to the game so could not post my picks but ya'll know how I do and just like last night this was a game to middle.

Heat ML Heat -3B3 and Spurs +9B3

Also had under 185 live but it got iffy and had to hedge that with 184.5 almost middled that as well with a push.

Congrats to all on the year.

I said it once, and many times after...

It is King James world and we just live in it!

ps. I could not find a battier bet so my barber a big spurs fan said ginobili is going to be the diff... I said battier will be the diff... my next three haircuts are free on that prop.

Late to the after party... But want to take a moment to thank Mavin for connecting me to some of the most amazing PEOPLE I've ever met. My process of capping and life in general has improved greatly from the lessons I've learned here.

Hopefully we come back together for NFL action.

Once again, Mavin!

Thanks!

With all due respect as you surely made more than I did on NBA- the one thing I have said all along is that B1-B2 and most recently B3 is a strategy that you should employ into your capping Phixer- As you know I track things I see and I can say you would easily be over 50k total just by giving up some profit margin for the points- this was evident in games like wolves spurs total bet- and most recently on this last NBA game- if you think about it in binaries the margin is in the 70% range and buying points puts you in the 60-75% range on most books.

Regardless of confidence in our plays- if the ML will give you such a high payout it may be worth getting the points on the second bet. I know this is after the fact but we can learn from the past- I got crushed way too many times on 1-2 baskets so I buy the points- hope that helps- and hope you are around for NFL would love to see what your takes are on games. Win or lose I live the NFL it is like playoffs all season because every game counts- that is the one major drawback from capping MLB- sometimes teams give up because they know its a long season.

Game 4 is a part of the package from 2 games. 4 and 5. Meaning that Miami will win one or both of those games. Now, depending on orders from the "bosses" - will they lose this game 4 as well as most of the money and the bets are on them and then win games 5 and 6 to tie up? I don't think so. I think they will win game 4 and lose game 5, win game 6 and will play finally the championship game 7.
First off I must admit I only skimmed the thread since there is no way,as interesting a forum as it may be,that I'm reading  500+ pages of covers dialogue. However from what I have read it contains some high level capping and thought provoking discussions.

That said I'm still unsure what you mean when you say "Now, depending on orders from the "bosses" "

Are you suggesting that MIA could win any game at will. Yet they may collectively,as a team decide to lose a game on purpose due to outside influence from their superiors ??

If I'm way off I apologize but I'd like to know either way....thanx in advance

I really could care less who wins what, as long as I'm on the winning side.

All in the name of business. And you saw what happened at the end. Yes. I have no doubt that the team owners and NBA managemnt in conjunction with LVSC are manipulating the game outcomes with the help of the frenchise players and referees absolutely legally since the players and refs are NBA employees and you can certainly order your employees how to perform their work
