I actually think it is the Nets trying to hard- lots of missed point blank layups- and 1-8 from 3- they are not a 3pt shooting team but are getting clean looks- what I do notice is that fouls are racking up fast- This may slow the game down and add some rest- which may mean more points-

the nets getting out coached- in the bonus with over 7 min to go and they dont take the ball to the rim- the bulls are now controlling the pace. Williams has made one bucket from the field- I guess game one got them a bit over confident.

Ash you may just get your ML!

Going with Denver, the loss of David Lee is going to hurt pointwise and in rebounds.  Also Like Boston to at least cover.  Celtics 6-2 last 8 in NY.

Big Unit 5-3 (52-45-1)

DEN Nuggets -8

BOS Celtics +6.5

So lets recap- the Bulls beat the Nets- which can also be seen as the Nets giving it up to the Bulls, both these teams played terrible offense in my opinion, I lost count of all the point blank under the basket missed layup/dunks or turnovers. If you are a Bulls fan or on the Bulls you may say it's great defense, I saw it as poor offense and even worst game management- When you have big D teams like Bulls, Grizz, Pacers you have to get them in foul trouble early and then attack the rim with authority. 1H the Bulls were in control as the Nets decided they were going to become a jump shooting team overnight. Sure Lopez was hitting the 20 ft jumper made 4 in a row but that is not their game- Williams became Kobe (as of late) and tried to pass the ball as often as he had it in his hands- he made about 1 fg in the 1H. The Bulls looked pressured to win and were also making silly turnovers however the Nets were simply just going for rebounds with one hand. Tipping it over to the other team and worst of all they were going to the basket (the few times they did go) with gumby hands, maybe they had their nails done pre-game, they even said this after the game they have to be tougher and stick to the game plan. In the 3q they get the Bulls into foul trouble and get into the bonus with 7+ minutes left! The coach tells them we are in the bonus drive to the basket put the pressure on... but coach we are big boys who you think you are to tell us what to do we are going to take js and look pretty doing it. The coach was not listened to and Brooklyn turned into the BK Sissies. It's the playoff when you smell blood you have to go for it, ask OKC-Heat- That being said I still think that whether it is in chicago or in NY the Bulls as they stand can't and should not keep up with the Nets, I think they are too injured. Everyone on TV says that the Bulls made adjustments and that is what a team does after losing big. The other team has the same opportunity to re adjust and the Nets had the game plan down but were too soft to execute. I am not 100% sold on the home court advantage early in the Playoffs because teams are seeded based on record not really on talent. I think that if the Bulls hit 3s they can win and the nets need to drive to the basket with man pants and get the Bulls in foul trouble. If the refs are not bought I don't buy home court advantage in the Playoffs until the top teams start facing each other. This also kept the game under, the soft Js from the Nets that is. 11 pts in a quarter? I know them as well as the Mavs and Hawks have had sub 7 pt quarters in the season but this is what happens when you try to go against your style of play. If all the bulls are clogging the paint sure you can say we will take jump shots but that is not what you do, props to the Bulls for executing that part of their plan, but just because the paint is clogged does not mean you can drive to it and move the ball around. There was also poor lineup management- I don't think you can have all the bigs in at one time and all the smalls in at one time, that is on the coach. The reason teams like the Heat Spurs OKC Nuggets Clips do well is because they have a balanced lineup where there will be perimeter shooters to keep you honest and bigs to rebound and drive to the basket. I am leaning Nets as I write this because they will probably be a dog or close to even in chicago. I was not 100% sold on the spread but thought the Nets ML was good, turned out to be that the Bulls ML paid off well. Bottom line poor planning, poor execution, too soft and still managed to put up over 80 .

On to the Clips game the Grizz came out strong trying to play fast up tempo ball with the Clips, well that usually ends up being a bad decision. This game was really closer than it should have been. The Clips need to make sure they learn from what the Heat learned from when they lost to the Mavs in the finals- when you are up YOU DRIVE TO THE BASKET WITH BALL MOVEMENT AND PUT THE PRESSURE ON!  I never understand why a 12 pt lead  make a team think they can just shoot 3s to put the game away- with a 12pt lead all you have to do is trade quality paint shots with the other team. Easier said than done but taking perimeter shot after shot its a recipe for disaster. I was actually able to middle this game since I had the over by going under 187 live and 193 live and by going over 89 for the 2h on an open parlay bet ( I will post those later as they may not fit in this post). Scoring was not as pronounced in this game as the last game so I thought maybe about 10 pt less based on what the quarters were looking like. I almost got screwed by OT but I don't factor in OT until the very last minute because it is a rare unpredictable occurrence. The lines on the nets and clips games are so low because the bulls and grizz are expected to slow the game down and play good D and that would be true if they were playing the pacers jazz spurs etc but when you play a fast young team that likes to fly to the basket its hard to defend that so I think that it will depend on who plays up or down to who the grizz tried hard with allen and Connelly to play fast but those two guys can't play the whole game specially at the speed they started at the clips have 1st and 2nd team that could all be sprinters there is no defense for that if you do stay back (like game one) then you don't get the offensive boards the clips slowed the pace after being up 12 almost cost them- Crawford post game said that should never happen- OKC was up 28 and even then still pushed it- its the playoffs you have to go for blood send a message.

I think Nets ML and Over right calls. Bad outcome on the spreads and ML on poor execution and planning- that affected the total as well.

Clips ML and Over right calls- bad execution at end cause the clips backers the spread.

The plays were parlays and single bets as well.

Good analysis Turbo. Just some advice, use paragraphs next time. I like your breakdown but it was a huge chunk of text and a bit hard to read.

I watched the game and the more mem run the more the lac scores lol and in 4th mem finally played the way they usually play and got the game close oh boy lol but anyways on a positive side still a good night and I know the big boys that had an off night last night will bounce back tonight! Right on the money in the fourth the Grizz slowed it down and the Clips with the lead laid back and fell on the trap. Clips need to push the tempo- the only way for grizz to kill tempo is to foul and as long as they dont foul jordan and at times griffin they should be fine. I am going with them next game B2- same for Nets- although both games were close I still see a mismatch.

As for today I can't touch a line on anyone that goes above 13-15 range- is just a recipe for disaster either way because it will depend on the mood of the team if they want to go gangsta on those fools  or if they will be sitting at the table asking for someone to pass the grey poupon.

Generally the Heat have been pulling away in the 2H, and Bucks made lots of shots last game. Most of them Jump shots- don't know that they can keep doing that- I can't see myself playing a spread on this game other than maybe the 2H depending where it is.

AshyLarryMP 5-3 (71-70-2)

DEN Nuggets -8

BOS Celtics +7

MIL Bucks +14

this nuggets line was -8 game 1 before lee was injured.. now its -8 again?? i see value as this will hurt the warriors and hoping fareed plays tonight, he improves the nuggets interior sooo much!

celtics i just feel they still believe they can win this series.. even if they cant. kind of going with the same thoughts as the bulls game in aspect that celtics NEED a game in new york if they have any chance at this and that urgency is enough for me to take the 7 points.

bucks 14 points taking a chance.. i just have a hard time seeing 2 blowouts in the playoffs.. i mean why even play this series right?? heat still win, but hope jennings and ellis have something to say and keep it in single digits.

I like these if you are B2-

with the Heat is tough to see them over doing it if there is no need and they can take chances to rest for playoffs etc. These may be part of small teaser am doing along with the under in mia and two dogs thursday
