Mavin, I respect your privacy not disclosing the details about yourself - but I think it would be academically helpful for the visitors to understand where you come from. All I got to add to that subject is that the fact of you being an excellent signal caller in binary options market (I could say - unmatched if I wanted to stress that point)  - is only helpful to understand your altruist motives in delivering the mass education thread on subject of sports handicapping. I personally learned a lot and more than that - discovered that there are reasonable people who are seriously trying to handicap sports and the next step most probably will be converting them to learn trading in binary options. That is how I see the flow of this process started by you. As one who came here from that market - it was pretty strange to see you trying to work sports handicapping market which is in my eyes much more complicated than the binary options one. But, then I learned that the risk management is the key to all the ventures in a trading world and trading in spreads and totals carries much more unpredictability and risk than binary options do.

Oxymoron?
Highly exaggerated
I did not set no process at the end of which I am going to conver anyone to anything. Those are different markets with different ROIs and different investment needs
Risk management is the key to anything you do in life. You are choosing to buy a car which in your understanding best suits your needs while at the same time you have certain expectations from your purchase. The difference between what you expect and what you get in reality is a risk factor and as less as the risk factor is - more relaxed you are making that purchase. In binary options there is no point entering it if you don;t know how to manage your bankroll and with less than 5000$ to start with. I mean - you can start with 2000$ but since you need to hit over 60% to be on the earning side (of course the risk in binary options is much much less than in sports handicapping as there are no dramatic and sensational results - boring sometimes duh) - you gotta be prepared for some downfalls and hedges as well. Hedging and middling in binary options is a common practice for those with experience who do not want to risk anything but juice. But the juice is higher than in sports.

Bobcats over two rested teams who don't play much D.

Atl -7.5 real quick the hawks wont hesitate to tack it on late after that 58 point performance still fresh on thier minds. Boozer,Hinrich, Noah out.

Ok, here we go (totals indicated by the "track"):
OKC-CLE OVER 206
ORL-MIL UNDER 200,5

My personal play is MIL -10
I think the situation looks similar with yesterday's Miami-Indiana game. We should be thinking: "Milwakee? favorit by 10 points? the line is too high, I'm taking points with Orlando... easy play..."
But, again, I'm going opposite, since there is no such thing as "easy play"!

I usually found it hard to support bottom teams on the road cause when they got beat, they got beat badly by so many points...

If you will bother to check stats from this season - you'll find that most of the times home team was a DD favorite - they diod not cover the first half. Most

thanks mavin, but not like my other solid picks - this minny -3 pick was posted by other great capper i respect earlier than me. i did not take it from him but it sure helped me to make the decision to go for it. your demeanor reminds me a lot of him and that is why i feel comfortable in your thread. thanks for having me. but the props for this pick go to that capper.

You either are a very modest person with kind of earnings you're sporting - or you are that handicapper you're talking about, or... you're saying how it really is. Well, I'd like to believe the third version, but truly - I don't care as long as it is a winner you post

After yesterday's home covering frenzy I filtered my ATS record, removing away teams totally, and my records improved so much, maybe it's just a coincidence, or the home team really have an advantage ATS wise, at least for those with very strong home court advantage, like Denver, Houston, Spurs etc.

Well, can't argue with that today after going 1-2 on the first halves which will most probably will be 2-2 after an over. Will have to wait for Utah and Under in SA to see where the things are headed today, but Phixer's big bet on Minnesota is for sure a day saver for anyone on the thread as long as you tailed him. Not sure with that amount - but still a big bet. I actually was gonna post that too since I took it but did not feel it's appopriate to repeat the pick posted with 2300$ behind it

Took MIN earlier with 1 unit, and it looks good till now.
Actually I back checked last few season's data, and found the home team really have an ATS advantage for several teams with strong home advantage.
It will be a perfect record for today's pick if all strong home team were taken 1HF ATS win, houston, knicks, min, spurs(looking good till now).
It's just one day, and it's after the result was out, everything I said is hardly useful.... But I'm going to try to do that filter to see whether it will improve my performance in the long run. BOL~
