#726 Posted: 12/31/2012 8:57:05 PM No in 709 i was referring to when you first talked about the bet you said the line was so low....i thought you meant so low as in i should bet on it....but i see you were thinking so low i should go against bookies...if you keep reading in 709 i explain why the spurs were gonna start a blowout.... |

No problem with that. I was actually surprised knowing you're a Spurs groupie . Me too in betting sense. But somehow lately they did pull few stances that made me to think NBA tamed Pop |

#731 Posted: 12/31/2012 9:06:06 PM haha Spurs groupie...the funniest part about betting too is the fact that i hate the spurs and the patriots....diehard bills fan living in upstate ny...and diehard knicks fan.(in spurs case i didnt like there "boring" style of play) ...i've always respected both teams but always hated both, however, when it comes to betting i love safe, secure bets and they usually are safe, secure teams to bet on. I have to agree though the SPURS absolutely were the team to bet on at the beginning of the season and then they fell off a bit and i stayed away (they also had a couple bad injurys, so now they are back at full depth), so i think they are getting back on track....and in a pinch i roll with them when they have their full team in hand..... |

#735 Posted: 12/31/2012 9:14:51 PM I am big on in close game situations on against the spread, I try to take (if i take bet at all) the team with better coaching, better track record against team, team with more depth, how teams matchup strategy wise on offense and defense (then i compare how a similar team has played against them this year with same offense/defense) then how teams matchup at each position on the court and which team i think has better end of the game finishers then part of it is just a feel for the game in my own head.....well I use a lot with how i just plain feel but everything else can be just as important when it comes to a decision in betting....I've learned many times when i dont do my hw completely on a game, I look back and realize what decision I should have made based on something......there is obviously a lot of other things that go into it and sometimes its different for different sports and sometimes i work harder then other times...but my main intuition from knowing the players and teams so well is what gives me the biggest edge I think.... |

#737 Posted: 12/31/2012 9:18:27 PM I was lucky with that Orlando - Miami draw.
Everything else is fine except I lost on totals SAS - Nets.
Still up 3rd day in a row.... :)

Worth noting and remembering Great insight to your capping melosjumper7. I do not see it any other way. Only adding some more parameters |

#745 Posted: 12/31/2012 10:35:34 PM Congrats on solid day Marvin. I'm no NBA as a whole expert but I know the warriors pretty darn well and done excellent betting with them this season, if u ever want some home town advice on the warriors let me know. I will say be very careful ever betting against them this year, they aren't the same team of old! |
