Back in 1995 when they play Col in LDS Game 4 and NLCS game 4.

If you want to see them win Friday, don't hesitate to donate your ticket to me...

I really think this team can make it to the World Series. So much parity in the National League, imo, that Hudson, Medlen, Hanson and Maholm can be such a force. I really love this team.

You included the worst starter on the team yet left out one of the best starting pitchers in the majors in the 2nd half?

Hey Straight,

Are you going to the game ?

Lohse vs Medlen gonna be a great game.

I live 800+ miles away from Turner Field, so no.

I was kind of surprised to see the cards picked Lohse to face the Braves.  The Braves are much better against RHP and they already roughed up Lohse this year.

Hopefully Medlen can make it 24 straight wins in a row when he starts.

Yeah I was surprise that Stl did not start a LHP.

Cards are 56-57 vs RHP
Braves 64-37 vs RHP

Yeah, it really doesn’t make much sense unless you’re planning your rotation on the assumption you’re going to play Washington.  Of course that’s not going to do much good if you can’t even get past the Braves.

Either way, I’m not complaining.  I like the Braves' chances in this one.

If you're talking about Minor...I don't think he's gonna be in the rotation over Hanson. I think Minor is better suited out of the bullpen than Hanson is (albeit the better starter at this time) and I believe Hanson will be in the postseason rotation.

You mentioned Tommy Hanson (a pitcher most Braves fans never want to see pitch in a Braves uniform again) but left out Mike Minor (one of the best 2nd half pitchers in the majors).

I think right now Minor is easily the 2nd best starter on the team.

Yeah, if Beachy didn’t get hurt and continued having the season he was having I’d take the Braves rotation over any baseball right now.

There is not a chance in hell Hanson is going to be starting in a playoff game over Minor.  And if he does there should be an investigation into Fredi Gonzalez because he bet on the other team.

I’ve seen almost every Braves game this season and the only thing Hanson has on Minor is he tends to get better run support.  That's it.

Hell, I’d even take Minor over Hudson right now.
