And he doesn't need to throw to Posada. It's rare that a pitcher can throw to one guy in his career. He'll adjust and the Yankees will give him as long as he needs to feel ready.
He's a vet. He already learned how to adjust to pitching after he's lost speed. He's a ground ball pitcher. If he can just get himself back to half of what he was...he'll be a pretty damn good 5th starter if healthy. But health, obviously, is another big concern. He missed time in 2009 with a groin injury and that's stuff, at his age, that is tough to avoid. |
