I've made a thread about this guy before when his first single came out and I've decided to post his new EP. The last thread had mixed reviews. Obviously based on preference. You can scroll down and just listen to the songs and if you like it...download it, showing him some love. If not for you...that's fine. I'm just looking for some thoughts from you guys.

Some background on this guy is he opened for Big Daddy Kane a B.B. Kings in New York last year and also opened for Too Short at the Knitting Factory and has a show at B.B. Kings again next week.

So just let me know what ya think.

Monotone flow, he raps behind the beat, lyrics are average.  No sense of humor whatsoever either.

This music sounds dated like it may have been more popular in 2001.  Overall this guy is very bland.  Too many average and below average rappers putting music out.  He is one of many.

He's aight for one of your friends, if it's just your boy making songs in his bedroom.  But on a professional level nothing stands out.

I played that when the Clippers were down last night and it was on repeat for about 20 minutes.

I'm not really a rap/hip hop fan. I'm usually sold on a good beat (probably why "Through it All" is my favorite track this guy has).

I do think something is there, though. I have a bunch of friends who try music and when I listen to them, I feel embarrassed because they're just no good. But I think this guy is pretty good. I've heard the monotone thing before when I asked for a critique so I certainly understand that.

He's new and he's only 21. But whether he goes big or this is as far as he goes...it's something that I enjoy listening to so there's no complaints from my end. I'm just interested in other people's opinions.

Don't listen to as much hip hop as I used to, but my fave new rapper out right now is hands down...

Danny Brown

Guy is pretty sick, got a good flow and nice wordplay.

Not knocking your buddy for doing his thing but average at best.

Made me think of a younger guy I know that's in high school.
He loves weed and rapping and he is a white guy. He does not take it serious but he makes me laugh with a few of the ones I have heard. Keep in mind these are high school dudes with no money to put into it.
I would listen to this song in my ride before any on that list

His buddy is an aspiring rapper wanna be type. But the guy I know is the first one in this song and anything I have heard of his is better that the dude who thinks he is a rapper
