#1 Posted: 11/30/2011 2:52:50 PM Rivers is clearly below par and he's facing the Jaguars' 4th best passing defense.
Yates faces Atlanta's 23rd ranked passing defense.
Orlovsky faces New England's worst ranked passing defense.
So...do I go with Rivers or go with Yates or Orlovsky making their first starts? |

#2 Posted: 11/30/2011 3:35:51 PM Go Rivers, although he been a bust I think it is your best option...Houston will run, run and run some more, if he passes I am sure they will be safe short passes, I do not see them risking going down filed a lot.
and Orlovsky although a good matchup Pats will try to confuse him. Paleko had his 1st game 1st Pats and really didn't do much, Bilichek will have a scheme to confuse him |

#4 Posted: 11/30/2011 5:06:42 PM I don't think it works that way. We have one of the tightest leagues ever. 9 guys, I believe, are in the race for 6 spots on the final day. Anything can happen. And I'm currently in the 6th spot facing a guy in the 4th spot. I can't just say to ride or die with Rivers and hope for the best. I gotta win. |

I understand that completely but when your other options are Yates and Orlovsky than you have to ride or die with Rivers. I don't have either of those guys in my top 20 QBs for this week. GL and hope you can get the W and wrap up that playoff spot. |

#8 Posted: 11/30/2011 9:55:14 PM You're crazy....he hasn't been a STUD but Rivers will give you about 20, thats a lock.
The others might give you 24 or 13....

#9 Posted: 11/30/2011 10:13:26 PM Certainly not a "lock". 4 times has he had 15 points or less.
I'm starting him anyway because I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I lost with Yates or Orlovsky after thinking it over...but I just don't feel confident.
I hope I have this won before Monday Night so I won't have to worry. |
