Not sure if they would have had the resources. They have pretty much given away their whole 2012 draft.  They only have their 5th and 6th rounders + the compensatory picks they will get for losing FA's.

Nothing lol. Lions suck. What would have they been without Barry Sanders? They probably wouldn't be a franchise anymore.

It's not as if he would have to get out of his SUV at 14th and Broadway... Besides... He would most likely be driven to work from his home which would be in Blackhawk or Lafayette or Orinda or Danville. Maybe he could have Madden's old Blackhawk house RENT FREE for the entire time he stayed with Oakland.

He could always get one of those penthouse suite apartments in SF with a view of the Bay and bridge.
