ATL? Josh Smith is playing at Center.. No one can stop Blake Griffin nor DeAndre Jordan inside the paint.

the line has being going up for ATL, must be a reason, maybe clippers sitting someone? Cause makes no sense for the ATL line to betting higher

Clippers fighting for something really big right now. They want home-court advantage. This is more of a must-win game for the Clippers. Clippers have more talent and bigs inside the paint to stop the Hawks.

The Clippers are still in the chase for the Pacific Division title, laying a half-game back of the Lakers with 2 to play.Atlanta is virtually locked into a first-round series against Atlantic Division champ Boston, and Hawks have shown some weakness down the stretch. Atlanta has dropped 4 of its last 5 at Philips Arena against the points, and the Clipper backcourt held a huge edge in 14-point win at Staples Center back on March 14. Four Hawk guards combined for 24 points, a figure L.A. reserve Mo Williams exceeded by scoring 25 points off the bench. Atlanta HC Larry Drew has been forced to shift PF Josh Smith to center, as recent foot injury to Zaza Pachulia has compounded earlier loss of starting pivot Al Horford. L.A. has had some positive performances on the road in the last few weeks, winning 5 of last 7 SU as a visitor, including victories at Dallas, Oklahoma City and Denver. 11- LA -7 96-82 (185); 10-Atl -1' 107-98 (189), ATL -7' 101-100 (195)

Phoenix 99 - UTAH 94—Utah can clinch the 8th playoff spot in the West with a win in this game, while a Phoenix win, coupled with either a Sun victory against the Spurs tomorrow or a Jazz loss to Portland Thursday, would put the Suns in that slot. Phoenix has wobbled a bit the last few weeks, winning just 3 of last 7 games, but Alvin Gentry’s team has had few problems dispatching Utah in recent meetings. The Suns have beaten the Jazz 7 straight times, covering 6 of those victories. Sun frontliners Channing Frye and Marcin Gortat have both tallied 20 ppg against Utah this season, while vet PG Steve Nash contributed13 ppg and 13 apg in first two meetings with the Jazz. Suns have been alternating SU and spread losses recently, and they are on schedule for a win. Look for Phoenix to continue series trend and give the NBA one or two more meaningful games in the final days of the regular season. 11-PHO -4' 120- 111 (199), Pho +6 107-105 (201); 10-Pho +7' 110-94 (208), Pho +6 95-83 (209), PHO -4' 102-101 (208)

New Orleans HC Monty Williams has done a tremendous job keeping his team interested and competitive down the stretch in a star-crossed season. The Hornets have suffered through numerous injuries and assorted internal personnel issues yet have remained competitive, logging a 14-4 spread mark in last 18 and 7-4 SU record in last 11 games this season. Golden State HC Mark Jackson has actually had a similar road, with injuries and trades making it necessary to revamp and rebuild his squad on the fly this season, and the Warriors are 18-10 against the number since mid-March. That being said, Golden State has had a rough time at home lately, as the Warriors have lost and failed to cover 5 of last 6 at the Oracle Arena, including a March 28 loss to the Hornets. G.S. has been starting four rookies lately, while N.O. has vet G Eric Gordon back (22 ppg, 5 apg since returning 2 games ago), and F Carl Landry is playing with purpose as well. 11- Gs +2 101-92 (187), No +2' 102-87 (190); 10-Gs +6 110-103 (200), No -2 112-103 (198), GS -2' 102-89 (203) CABLE TV—TNT
