#1 Posted: 6/2/2012 1:32:33 PM is going to win the french if she can play at this level throughout the rest of the tourney. Her power game looks great and she is very crafty. will be backing her the rest of the tourney |

#3 Posted: 6/2/2012 1:35:52 PM Its her or Maria in my mind, they are playing on a different level compared to the rest of the field. Outside shot for Li if she can keep her composure. |

#7 Posted: 6/2/2012 1:58:49 PM 6-1, 5-1 Kanepi gets to match point...and then loses FIFTEEN straight pts. Tampon tennis at it's finest. These girl are all nerves. You will never see a man up 6-1, 5-1 and fold like that...she better recover in this set or she's toast. |

#11 Posted: 6/2/2012 2:23:09 PM This is exactly why Woz was #1 for a couple of minutes. She doesn't have nerves or beat herself like 80% of the field.

Yes she is steady as can be, but her lack of weapons is why she has never won a major. Hard to win a major when you're just keeping the ball in play at all times when players like Serena, Sharapova, Clijsters, Azarenka, Kvitova and Li are out there cracking winners. The steady stuff works against most players - it's just hard to beat alot of top players playing that way when they can hit the ball by her and move her around. |

#15 Posted: 6/2/2012 2:49:15 PM The 3rd set isn't over yet, but Woz sucks man. If this was a best out of 5 like men and Kanepi didn't choke in the 2nd, it could of possibly been 6-1 6-1 6-1.

#16 Posted: 6/2/2012 2:55:10 PM Typical womens match, no rhyme or reason to anything that happens really, just a couple of whewers hitting the ball right back to each other until someone gets period cramps and f*cks up. |

#25 Posted: 6/4/2012 4:09:24 PM Sharapova really wants this last leg of slam bad to me. All the threats are gone with Serena, Aza, Rads, Woz, etc. Kanepi looked horrible in second set melt down after blowing her match points. She was the last leg of my parlay and I had already figured it a loss. Later when I checked my balance I noticed I had more so she must have pulled it out in the 3rd, but I did not like what I saw. I've seen Maria get overpowered twice by Aza at Aussie Open and Indian Wells think it was. Yet she beat her once in a final this year. I think she can win it. |
