#3 Posted: 7/5/2009 7:46:06 AM Garza is scheduled to pitch for Tampa Bay, tonight. NOT Neimann, as is currently listed on this website.
I like Feldman. He's got 'the goods'. The nat'l spotlight should help to to 'turn up the volume' on this match. One or two teams is going to get swept today. Probably a couple, in fact. I like the prospects of The Rays being one of those teams.

#4 Posted: 7/5/2009 8:40:19 AM Feldman has stumbled a little. Always good to find an underdog though. Who else gets swept?

#7 Posted: 7/5/2009 12:45:12 PM Wonder what the O/U is in recent years on these ESPN night games... I just might check into that when I have some extra time on my hands but, I'm guessing they're more OV than UN so thats what I'll try tonight especially considering the ballpark -- OVER 9.5 |

#12 Posted: 7/5/2009 6:06:19 PM Although the dog looked tempting at first Garza might be able to prevent the sweep tonight. He shut down Texas at home once last year. Tough game to call. Teams don't get swept that easily.I.E. Only the Mets got swept today.

#15 Posted: 7/5/2009 7:09:59 PM Glad to see someone else likes the under. I just won on the RL Dodgers and just pulled the trigger on the under 9.5 at even money. Both pitchers have been strong against each other and each could go 6-7 innings. Naturally, if Texas is up they won't be batting bottom 9th. Garza knows he has to do all he can to cool the TX bats down early and we all know in baseball after a big day the bats normally cool down on their own. Law of averages. Don't forget, just a week ago everyone was taking unders in TX. Lastly, there is no denying that all but one trend posted here on covers is on the under.

#17 Posted: 7/5/2009 7:41:24 PM I meant I won on the Angels...the other LA/Anaheim team....ha! I hope the Dodgers lose again just because I laid off them. Nice comeback Pads!
Want another reason for the under? Kazmir held TX to 3 on Friday but took the loss since they managed only one. Garza's numbers have been even better this yr. Good pitching shuts down good hitting. As long as the long ball is not a factor today and a couple jams are averted, this one goes under. Didn't take a side but I'm pulling for the Rangers to shorten the game. |

#20 Posted: 7/5/2009 10:07:42 PM Meant it's obvious Garza has not been on his game for my under to be looking good. When runs are scored early you still can't count out the late offensive hibernation. Texas has the momentum to get this win but I see my +2.5 for the Rays paying off at games end. Hate to ask TB to score with my under pending but I can't see them not staying within 2. |

#21 Posted: 7/5/2009 10:12:35 PM At least garza pitched 5 and Texas finally stays off the board. 5-2 after 5 there in Arlington. Hope to see more goose eggs for Texas through the rest of the game. |

#22 Posted: 7/5/2009 11:06:01 PM The under looks great now as I had a feeling runs would be tough late with the Rays pen. Wish I hadn't taken the Rays +2.5 small but we'll see how this plays out. |
