I can't. Though he would look funny with those jug ears crammed into a Volt... |

That's because he's worried about the hydrogen filling station blow-ups and Volts bursting into flames in people's garages ..so he's giving them at least that long to make sure they are safe.. |

Im optimistic about the future of GM"s electric cars to see larger capacity gains. As long as the other necessary factors don't suffer It could see 300 mile pure evs by 2015, rather than - 35-40 miles.
As there legacy cost declines this company should be a force again to reckon with in the future.. |

#9 Posted: 3/2/2012 6:34:08 PM We better beef up our power grid if we are going to go to electric cars....its antiquated and can barely support the demand we have now. Especially in the summer months.
and what fuel(s) are used to make electricty anyway?

#11 Posted: 3/2/2012 11:46:58 PM The Volt a car for the 1%'ers........
The hybrid gas-electric vehicle gets 25 miles on a full, overnight charge and costs around $40,000. To date, GM has sold around 10,000 vehicles. To put it in perspective, the Chevy Corvette has a sticker price of $49,600. |
