I rely on my own skills, ablility, and decision making to do the risky things I do.
It is all in my hands and nobody elses.
Call me crazy but when I have success or failure, I am the only one that effected that outcome. It was my decision making that created that outcome.
When I sit down for a meal. Why would I thank god? He did not have garbage to do with putting that meal in front of me
