if the wise men in vegas knew illinois was going to win, why not set the line at -4.5....let the world bet on gonzaga.....and collect about 100 million dollars?
instead youre saying they gave 12 points to the 12th rank team, to create the illusion that gonzaga was going to blow them out? To fool a few over thinkers? while 85% of the betting population was on illinois catching double digits, and giving illinois a ML price of +500???
unless the "overthinkers" were betting 10 million each, im pretty sure books got smoked on this game.
