Also SA is 6-1 on 2 days rest. Finally, as Watch pointed out the ML is out of wack and makes no sense., As far as the over under goes I like the under. It opened at 142 and quickly was dropped to 139 to get everyone to bite on the over as they did. Then they slowly brought it up as the money poured in to make it look like the play. There is no reason that should have been 139 unless is was a trap. GL guys.

Banned Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 1028 Location:	#27 Posted: 9/26/2008 10:15:34 AM The Los Angeles Sparks brought down the hammer on the San Antonio Silve Stars on Thursday evening with a convincing 85-70 win at the home of USC's Galen Center due to scheduling conflicts with the Staples Center. Ice cold shooting and an amazing edge in rebounding led to the Silver Stars demise. Becky Hammon, the star of the team, had a terrible shooting night missing open jumpers that she normally knocks down going 3-10 from the field. Ruth Riley also had a bad night from the field shooting 0-4. San Antono was out rebounded by a 37-20 margin collecting only 5 offensive rebounds to LA's 10. The Sparks were led by Lisa Leslie's 22 points and paced by three others that collected 14 points (Candace Parker, Marie Ferdinand-Harris, and Temeka Johnson), which is indicative of the amount of assists (27) that the Sparks had on offense. The Sparks showed a superior inside game with 15 points in the paint to San Antonio's 9, and fierce interior defense which produced 9 blocks to San Antonio's 1. The Silver Stars will look to get back into the series in game 2 set for Saturday at 3:00pm est at San Antonio, where the Silver Stars have enjoyed the home cookin' this year with a sterling 15-2 straight up record. The Sparks are 8-9 on the road this year, and will have to bring their "A" game in order to close out the series on foreign hardwood.

Banned Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 1028 Location:	#28 Posted: 9/26/2008 11:01:30 AM As for me, I had mixed results with wins in the 1st quarter (San Antonio) and for the total to go over 141, coupled with an ats loss for San Antonio and a moneyline loss for the same side. In tonight's action, the under holds a distinct advantage for the Liberty's home games as they have gone under the total an amazing 22 out of their last 30 home games, which is hard to ignore. New York despite covering an outstanding 10 out of the last 14 times these two teams have played is only a 1.5 point favorite at home. Detroit has had their number this year, but the one game where New York was favored to win they did cover, a 74-64 win in July. Public numbers so far indicate that the public is mixed on this game as New York money has come in to even the scales. For me, the under the total on this game is the way to go. I like the game to go under the assigned number 144. Detroit has gone under 4 out of their last 6 games, and New York has gone under 8 of their last 10. One spin o n it is that in those games, New York has had totals that average out to 147.5, and Detroit has had totals that have averaged 153. However, the actual scores for New York in that span were140.5, and Detroit's actual scores in those 6 games averaged 149.5. 144 fits snugly in between those averages. New York cannot run with Detroit nor turn the ball over. Deanna Nolan is one of my favorite players in the WNBA and she is a great finisher. New York runs great sets, and when they rebound the ball offensively they pass it back out and milk the clock, making teams play a full shot clock again. I think that they will come out and jump all over Detroit early and often, with Detroit's depth coming into play in the 2nd half. As far as the side is concerned, I hate to pay vigorish, so with an even money moneyline, I am taking Detroit for the game. I think that they have the deeper team, and if I lose so what? I will chase bet with Detroit in this series until I get paid, as I firmly believe that they will win this series and advance to the finals. So my plays for this game are: New York -.5 1st quarter Detroit +100 moneyline Detroit/New York under 144 Good luck to all

You can't lose a dime and then bet a dime on the next game. That's a waste of time spinning wheels. You have to bet $1500.00 on the next game to make a profit and so on. And by the way, trust me, I know what I'm doing!

Even though they had the lead in that game you knew they weren't going to hold it. If New York wants to they will be able to score at will with the dike from Minnesota up front and Chameka going to the basket.

At any rate tonight we have a game 3 in Detroit and i am going to take the over in this game as the linemaker has definitely tipped his hand on this one, by lowering the over/under line from 144 in game 1 to 137 in this last and deciding game 3. New York is 15-5 over after an ats loss in their last 20 such situations, and Detroit has averaged 153 point per game at home this season. Detroit/New York over 137 for me tonight!
