#27 Posted: 6/1/2009 2:47:08 PM Yah, will do, at least once in a while.
You're right, I sort of like the 5 inning niche, and the runline niche --
(aside: e.g., in Sabathia wins, his team is > 90 percent on the runline... and on losses he loses anyway -- so it's a much higher yield. Furthermore, I think there are game-management reasons for this... reasons why it's such a high #.)
-- because these are less efficient markets where the line that's set is basically done by a rule of thumb formula -- so there are "incorrect odds" (in my opinion) on certain bets.

#28 Posted: 6/2/2009 8:21:11 AM gfoss59 WINS OFFICE POOL DEBUT!!
No turning back now hoss...
I'd recommend to everyone taking a visit to gfoss59's Space...it's really well decorated with some beautiful algorithmic analysis in layman terms...
Winning's winning no matter how you get there...there's more to it than meets the eye and what seems abstract becomes very conventional...
meanwhile, we've got some hot cappers in the Memorial if you wanna take a peek...PTJABBA's in, the Number 1 MLB Sides guy in the whole world, and others are ripping it...
good luck all......

#30 Posted: 6/3/2009 11:11:05 AM A Sunday school teacher is
concerned that his students might be a little confused about Jesus, so he asks his class, "Where is Jesus today?"
Steven raises his hand and says, "He's in Heaven."
Mary answers, "He's in my heart."
Little Johnny waves his hand furiously and blurts out, "He's in our bathroom!"
The surprised teacher asks Little Johnny how he knows this.
"Well,"
Little Johnny says, "every morning, my father gets up, bangs on the
bathroom door and yells 'Jesus Christ, are you still in there?!'" |
