#9401 Posted: 6/11/2012 7:45:58 PM I have a couple questions, maybe you can help me out smooth,
Does your streak continue if you miss/skip a day? And also, as far as the free mlb contest 'ATS' and 'O/U' picks, do you have to select every match up and just rate the games you are unsure at 100 and locks at 500. Or can you leave some spreads out all together?

#9405 Posted: 6/12/2012 12:08:23 PM Well I figured out the second part to my obvious question..I was picking every single spread,
As far as strategies go for the streak... Taking a day off here and there during a streak may just be the way to go. Considering there are only a few picks to choose from.
I got Phili today.

you should always take a pick you feel good about. take a day off if you feel like you are guessing unless you are at W0 than guess.
Kendrick id horrible I actually an thinking of taking the over 9 Twins could win but Blackburn has not pitched well either
GL
W4 still thinking of what to take looking at Twins over 9 A's or the over 10.5 Angels Thunder |

you get 7 days to make a pick before your streak gets reset to 0 on the MLB contest I take around 10 picks a day depending on what I like and what is available to pick. I have been in the top 10 but an currently at 46. I dropped when I tried to pick a bunch and am slowly working my way back up. you only need a couple right for one day to be on the plus side, when you pick everything it becomes a more difficult contest. watch the lines as well you want the best value for your pick |

My apologies Cardifkill I have been super busy the last couple of days with business and didn't come to the thread at all yesterday. Booyahz answered your question and I hope that helps. Good Luck on your streak and we're pulling for you. |

Phili over looks solid. I also like the parlay value on the Mets with CY on the mound. Best of luck..

#9413 Posted: 6/12/2012 3:40:31 PM BAY AREA BASH BROTHERS BASEBALL LEAGUE_________________________________ SHANKS DELIVERS KNOCKOUT BLOW TO CHAMPIONSHIP!
All of the sudden Shanks is a hot team and appears to be a Giant killer. Shanks delivered another defeat to a contending team this time the Championship was on the short end of a Shanks uprising 8-5. Shanks outstanding 1B Mark Trumbo led the uprising hitting 4HR's with 12 RBI's to lead them to victory. The lost knocked Championship out of a 3 way tie for 1st place with Str8ballin and Always 2nd Place. ________________________________ Fireballs burn Blue Crushers 10-4!
The Fireballs finally got back in the win column with a beatdown of the Crushers. Robinson Cano led the way with 3 HR's and a .409 Avg. The Fireballs have been struggling bad lately and needed the win to prevent them from sinking into last place as the race tightens. ________________________________________ Tssajos Clobbers California Bears 10-4!
The last place Tssajos beat up on the Bears in what is becoming a tendency in the league for the last place teams to pummel the contenders. Tssajos had a great performance from 2B Dan Uggla who pounded 3 HR's and drove in 9 runs for the week. Tssajos pitchers had a 2.90 ERA as well but lost Pitcher Alexi Ogando to a groin strain. Although still in last place Tssajos moves closer to the 6th and final spot as all the bottom teams defeated the top teams this week. _____________________________________

#9416 Posted: 6/13/2012 1:03:30 AM IT'S A GANG BANG ON THE LEADERBOARD!BIGFNPOO IS ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF THOUSAND DOLLAR CITY AND HE'S BROUGHT PLENTY OF COMPANY! 5 count'em 5 people are at 15 or higher on the leaderboard leg by our very own BigFnPoo. The Poo bear came through with #16 thanks to OKC putting the clamps on Miami in Gm 1 of the Finals. We have never seen this many people crowd the leader board like this. We have 24 people with double digit streaks. This could be the armagaddon of Streak Wars going down. Good luck to BigfnPoo and the rest of the players. |

#9424 Posted: 6/13/2012 1:11:35 PM I am really enjoying the crowded conditions nearing the money on Survivor. It's going to be very interesting to see how the mods decide to play this. Could be a real opportunity for more of us to climb up there as they may try to get too cute with the limiting of games. |
