My mistake. My comment was geared more towards the forum as a whole. There are always "fix" threads on here but this year and this Finals in particular the forum has really turned into a joke. Every 2nd thread is about a fix or conspiracy or the refs. There are only a handful of posters left here that are worth reading and their threads quickly get bumped off the main pages by people asking about tonight's refs or who "Stern wants tonight". One crooked ref and one fixed game in the 2002 Western Conference Finals have led the league to losing it's credibility - and maybe deservedly so - but after what has happened in the last few years I don't believe anyone is fixing games.

Are the Thunder losing in the "tough calls" department in this series? Yes, but not as much as people are making it out to be. The fact is there have been two Game 7's in the NBA Finals since 1995 so if "Stern wants team X to win tonight to extend the series" then shouldn't we have seen more Game 7's? It should also be noted one of the Game 6's to force those Game 7's was a complete blowout and in the other the winning team shots fewer FT's than the losing team.

Miami has been the more aggressive team thus far which has led to them getting a few more favorable calls. But they have also been the better team. As I said before, they are executing on both ends and while as talented as they are OKC has shown some jitters and inexperience. As another poster said, this series is very similar to last year. Miami and LeBron are playing the role of Dallas and Dirk. A team that has failed before but has gained valuable expierience is being led by a player that is playing out of his mind and wants this ring very badly. What LeBron has done since Game 4 of the Indiana series is off the charts. LeBron (and Miami as a whole) have grown tremendously since last year. They are no longer making mental mistakes and wilting in key moments, instead that is what OKC has done. Reading the quotes and interviews before the series you could sense a real change in LeBron and the Heat after being humbled during last year's "coronation". And after the Game 1 loss there was no panic and it was even more evident these guys had a different attitude and had learned from their past failures. While the series is far from over and OKC is one hell of a team who is coming to come blazing in Game 4 I think they need just a little more seasoning and when it is all said and done Miami will prevail in the series, not because of the refs but because of their aggressiveness, execution on both ends, and most importantly mental toughness.

You people are living in a dream world high on drugs if you can't see how bad the refs are.

Why can't the Miami fans just admit how many calls they are getting??/

I'm making a ton of money in the finals. I have no problem admitting the ONLY reason I am winning is because the refs.

The people denying it are worse than those complaining over it.

It's called being "myopic"!  People no matter what, only see the results and therefore, most won't admit to what is truly happening.  All they see is Miami winning and OKC not pulling through at the end of games, which people equate this to OKC's inexperience and/or Miami being the better team...whatever.

I do think Lebron is a great player, but the NBA has issues...mainly the refs and Stern!

Miami deserved every win in that series and consequently the title no matter how badly want to believe otherwise.
