#601 Posted: 3/9/2013 6:48:54 PM hahaha i know i was just joking around
like duke too... unc is just not the pedigree that they usually are in this match up... i was mentioning that to someone today, both teams are usually in the top 10 let alone one of them not even being ranked... the acc is just not what it was in past years.. i'm sure it will pick up, especially with the arrival of cuse, and whoever else they are getting... louisville too?? anyway, duke just seems too strong, but i was surprised they weren't more like a 3 or 4 point fav?? guess just cause it's in chapel hill...

#604 Posted: 3/9/2013 8:44:44 PM I like Duke tonight as well. However i do think the heels match up well with Kelly because of the 4 guard lineup williams runs out there. Dukies just so much better with him. |

#606 Posted: 3/9/2013 9:12:52 PM Question philly. I never really understood why people do this. Take Duke with no points and get an extra $15 or take the 2 points and get a little insurance +2 and miss out on $15.
To me personally it seems like a no brainer. Like i said never really got the ML on dogs with such a short line.
On the other hand our boys are ROLLING 14-0 |

#608 Posted: 3/9/2013 10:09:41 PM took duke +2 as well... i always take the points ... that way if your game starts to get away at the end, they are down by 5, a three can still get you a push, and they are often uncontested...

#609 Posted: 3/9/2013 10:16:20 PM HUGE GAME ALERT HUGE GAME ALERT
the hoosiers visit my nearest big 10 city ann arbor for a MASSIVE game when it comes down to the final rankings... I'm sure with a big win tom crean feels he can still get a number one seed and cruise through the first round of the tourney as a double digit fav... on the other hand i'm sure beline has other plans, and hopes to get HIS team in to the top 4 and get one of those number one seeds... i know there is lots of tourney play to come in the next week that can change everything lead up to selection sunday next week but regardless this game will be a dogfight... indiana will be running the floor as usual i can assume and i'm sure beline is thinking the turnover game might give them an edge if they are agressive attacking the ball, but early foul trouble could hurt michigan as indiana's starters are all pretty lethal from the stripe.... early lines are showing wolverines at -1.5... what do you guys think??

#610 Posted: 3/9/2013 10:41:29 PM i take the ML on dogs that i really think are gonna win the game Outright to get myself that xtra money and my logic is that if they lose the probability of it being by 1 or 2 is a low %, im thinking if duke loses it will be by more then 2 so i save some juice as well.
if im betting a dog of 1-4 points im betting them to win the game, not lose by a few and hope to cover by a point or two. i usually only do the ML when im really confident on the dog.

#616 Posted: 3/10/2013 9:48:46 AM Morning Fella's.
missed an 8-0 day by 1 point in Kansas St game (they were winning by 1 with 4 mins to go) and got moosed big time in suns-rockets game, they had 96 pts at half and scored 116 in 2nd half and 59 of em' came in the 4th to end at 212 and i had under 211.5. i read a late 3 pointer is what put it over.
Saturday: 6-2 19-4 since Monday
NHL: 2-0 Sat, week 8-2 +1,145 ytd: 62-49-1 +1,560
NBA: 0-1 Sat, week 4-1, 10-2 run ytd: 83-55-6
Ncaa: 4-1 Sat, week 7-1, 15-9 run ytd: 114-93-2
@ JW1LS
its been a very good week and one of the best ive had in a long time..
i only keep my units won/lost for baseball and Hockey where spreads dont come into play and its ML's cause records dont really matter in them sports. u can have a winning record but if your betting huge ML favorites all the time u can have negative units. Ncaa/Nba are usually -110 lines on spreads so i just keep a record.
Its been a very good year all around for me with the betting.
are u gonna join us in manram's $300 MLB League, if so go sign up, draft's approaching quickly, its 2 weeks from today on a Sunday Night. We need ya to fill it up cause a guy from last year backed out

#620 Posted: 3/10/2013 12:11:24 PM VCU also 0-7 ATS on the road.
Temple needs this game to get into the tourny BAD. VCU thrives on turnovers and in league play Temple is top 30 in the country in TO's per game at only 10.9. |

Yeah I've been a michigan fan (football/basketball) my whole life... can't even remember how or why I started liking them just always have since I was a little kid. My whole family is SC fans but I've always been the odd one out of the group.
I think Burke and co bring it today and get the W, but of course I'm bias. Especially cause I'd love for them to get a 1 seed, win the tournament and cash my +3000 bet from beginning of season. |
