What a day at work...ugghhh....Sometimes being in a job with power sucks huge moose C&*K. If only I could make my salary working the drive thru at McD's.
Anyways....onto tonight.
PATRIOTS -1 LARGE (10 units)
I have been monitoring the line movements on this game all day and have finally got a line I will slam hard. I would take this up to 3 but the line now is pure value and I will take it, and take it big. NE hates this team, and I know they will play Philly tough. I love the lineup for the Pats in Obviously Brady but also in Mallett who I believe is a very good QB. Nick Foles had a great night for Philly last week but I don't see it taking hold tonight on the road, and I really dont see Philly pushing things with Vick who was said to have a thumb contusion. That may not seem like much but let's see what the similarity to that is. Let me place your hand on a table and with about 65% of my strength slam a hammer on your thumb. Then ask you to play in an NFL game the following week. Yeah, thats what it's like. So I see Vick either playing awful or up to the 2nd qtr and Foles will take over. NE's defense thrives in these games and I see some big turn over's for Foles going up against Bill's defense. Who I feel his schemes will confuse the young QB and force him to make big mistakes. i don't see the same for Mallett here who i feel will have a solid Night. NE takes this by 7+ |

#7 Posted: 8/20/2012 5:49:52 PM Yeah I see Brady being out or playing 6 series was latest when I finished capping this game. I capped this with him not playing which is why the Line movement has gone to -1. And also why I mentioned and put so much emphasis on Mallett. I am ok with this fellas. Mallett is a very good QB. No worries fellas, and thanks for the heads up |

Hoyasaxa,
Glad you are winning bud, I do the best I can to make valid arguments for my bets. I love this line going up up up. It only makes a more solid bet and ML play. I discipline myself to stick with solid money managment so I wont bet anymore. Poor MM has bitten my behind in the past and I wont let it happen to me again. But it is seriously tempting to unload on that +3 for sure.
As far as my job I work in a Major City area Hospital with the everyday management/operations over-seeing Dr.'s/Surgeons. High stress, lol, I won't say any more to protect my identity on here but I am sure you get the point. GL tonight |

#15 Posted: 8/20/2012 7:35:07 PM Razor-understood-let me just say there are times when the play is very strong and every factor is good and I step up-not crazy but more than normal...recent examples-a very good BBall poster here, 44 Dimes loved a Women's Bball game 2 weeks ago-had very solid reasoning-thought Turkey would easily cover +9 vs France incl head to head and style of play-they almost won straight out and it was never in question...last year I saw a ton of reasons to take KC vs the Pack at home and took the points and the ML extra big and it was easy as well...
Is that the case here? You do have a killer job-those Docs think they know everything and in my last 5 years I've learned get multiple opinions because they sure as hell don't... |

#16 Posted: 8/20/2012 7:44:02 PM Hoyasaxa,
I wager based on a system of strict Unit sizes now. 7 is my basic play for all NFL/Ncaaf etc. If I like a play particularly larger I will bet between 10-15 units. But I try not to bet higher than that on any one game. I feel a lot of Philly backers are going to be very dissapointed tonight. The line is moving way too fast and too soon. I don't care about the starters. I care about the QB's, and I like Mallett much more than Foles. And since the line is moving in our favor I love that a ton. I take line movement into every consideration of a bet but I don't get too emotional over it. It's all part of the capping strategy.
And yes Doctor's are a fun bunch, but it has many perks over-seeing their operations. The fringe benefits/ kick backs are sweet too. Drug Reps take me to lunch almost every other day and the Docs are always having parties. The women at some of these events are just remarkable. Makes me wish I was single sometimes :-/

0-1 night, What a penalty fest. Sorely underesitmated Nick Foles here tonight, the kid has some very nice talent. Even if the starters did play tonight I think this would have been a loss either way. The Eagles looked better coached the 2nd half here. I am gonna keep a close eye on Josh McDaniels as the coordinator for NE. I am not impressed at all with the play calling tonight for their offense.
Oh well, gonna get ready for a big week, lot of plays on board I got a close eye on and will make some moves in the next couple days.
Night all |

#21 Posted: 8/20/2012 11:40:33 PM The eagles are playing with more intensity and better play callings. Impresssed with Foley plays and ability to read the defense..Go get them next time buddy...BOL |
