I am from Denmark, so ive been pretty neutral when it comes to supporting a team, i just like the teams that i have $$ on, lol.
But, its always nice to support a team, so if anyone dont mind telling me about their team, and why YOU support the team, then it would be nice.

Im considering becoming a Minnesota fan as of what ive read of this team so far, im a Ravens fan in NFL. But tell me everything bout your team and why you support them, that would be lovely.

Looking forward to the next season fellas.

I am a die hard Knicks fan despite seeing how much garbage was done over the last 10+ years.  Management is run by a bunch of monkeys and weasels.  If it wasn't for me living in New York my entire life, I would never want to be in this circus of a team.  Now that Brooklyn Nets arrive, I actually have something else to look into.  However, I always hated Nets so it's gonna be a huge adjustment for me too!

Minn Wolves are a fun team to watch!  At least you got Rubio making unbelievable plays and DLove that could anything with the ball.  I never heard of a scoring/rebounding big man that can shoot 3s like nothing.  Even Dirk Nowitzki doesn't do that much during his prime....

Oh a side note:

I like Denver Nuggets (That was because most of my Knicks players were traded there at one point).  I also like GS because I really hated the BS the Knicks pulled on David Lee.  But GS sucks a lot so don't even bother to waste your time on this team.

If you enjoy watching dunks and unbelievable plays: LAClippers, Heat and even OKC are high flying teams.  You'll see action packed basketball with lots of dunking and amazing speed.  If you want to watch classic old school type basketball: Spurs, Jazz and even Boston should be a nice team to watch.  Just try to keep your eyes open if it's a late game.  :D

Thanks for answering paidon, nice

no, i just want to hear about reasons for liking a team so i can feel inspired. Or i could like some part of their history, players or something.

The teams with the oldest and domanant histories belong to BOSTON CELTICS and THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS.  Then two guys by the name of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen from CHICAGO came along and created their own dynasty in the 90s.  LOS ANGELES LAKERS took back control during the millenium years with SAN ANTONIO SPURS winning it every now and then.  Now that we are in the 2010+ era, it's forecasted that MIAMI HEAT might be taking control of it.  But it's hard to say since we still got LOS ANGELES LAKERS and probably OKC THUNDER in the mix.

Where are my NEW YORK person?  In the dumpsters, I suppose....

If you want Hall of Fame players and NBA Legends, most of them did reside in BOSTON CELTICS and LA LAKERS.  But in honestly, almost every team had someone special one way or another but they were quickly forgotten because they didn't get the ring....  (Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Reggie Miller just to name a few.)

Spurs - the city of San Antonio is amazing...and everyone there is really friendly.

Spurs play like a team should play. There are a lot of selfish players in the league. They will run the offense until they get an open shot. They will penetarte and pass the ball to the open guy. Everyone single player buys into the system. Coach Pop is all about matchups. They have been a solid defensive team for years. Pop is a master mind with rotations and defensive schemes. They play the game hard and draw a lot of charges. They aren't the most exciting team by any means, but as long as they have Duncan, Manu, and Parker you know what you will get out of them. There is really no in between with the Spurs...you love them or hate them. They're a team in a small market and is run by a great organization. They always think about the big picture...being a champion. Go Spurs Go!

i was a twolves fan right when KG was drafted.. Never was sorrounded with enough talent to bring in a banner thou, and that joe smith pick scandal set them back a lot... They were unable to add more young and promising talent... During KG's waning yrs in minn thou, kg was sorrounded by a bunch of vet has beens and still nearly took down shaq's lakers if it werent for those refs making phantom calls.... Basically, the greatest achievement of that franchise is getting KG... Then lately, K love... Thats about it... Still, the head office sucks... Still cant build a championship calibre team..
