#29 Posted: 10/9/2012 8:42:28 AM Glad to see all the differing views on this game. Luckily for us it's going to be played and we only have 5 more days to debate.

#33 Posted: 10/9/2012 9:55:37 AM This is a great spot for LSU even though their offense sucks donkey balls. Last time I remember SC winning a huge game at home was against Alabama 2 years ago, and they blew it against Kentucky on the road the next week.

#35 Posted: 10/9/2012 6:00:28 PM LSU is 35-1 in Saturday night home games under Les Miles.
LSU is 49-2 in Saturday night games at any location under Les Miles.
"Both losses were against flordia , on the road in 08 and at home in 09." Take away flordia and Les Miles is 49-0 in all games on Saturday night with Les Miles..
The South Carolina game will be the 100th for Les Miles... Cut it in half and what number do u get??? scary isnt it??? |

I accepted your friend request. Always interested in getting together with a few Covers guys to watch some games. Not many people are degenerate enough to watch 12 hours of football and then be pissed off that Hawaii hasnt played a midnight game this season!!

First off the Cocks have a well balanced offense, along with a pretty damn good defense. LSU on the other hand has an offense that has been pretty much non existant, with the biggest concern, not having a power run game, along with an offensive line who is struggling, and a QB who has played poorly when pressured, and a defense that just isn't as good as they were last year.. During Les Miles press conference, he was pleading for the Tiger fans to show up and be louder than they ever have before, I think he knows he is in trouble... so I am ignoring the situation, and whats could be a letdown spot, and taking the team who is playing on a completely different level.. Best of luck well said tideman......... |

Since I already have had a GOY this year we wont call it that, well just call it a really big Bibendi Special. Finally seem to have the ball rolling in the correct direction for the first time in years. I know there are a lot of big games this week and most people probably wouldnt take the marquee matchup of the week, but I like it, a lot.
Some thoughts from last week:
-Fire Frank Beamer
That is all.
Really Big Bibendi Special:
LSU -2.5
Their offense cant score any points! The mad hatter cant coach! Florida ran all over them in the second half! Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sure I'll hear all of this. USC favored by 1 at home last week and now only 2.5 pt dogs in Death Valley at night? Huh? LSU could have shut out Florida last week had they not lost both linebackers for those 2 scoring drives. Their defense looked great and that was with Florida taking away their biggest strength by running every down. Mingo and Montgomery will get after any QB who drops back to pass and there is NO chance Spurrier runs it 25 times in a row. This game isnt being play in Columbia either, this is a night game in Death Valley coming 1 week after USC has their biggest win in recent memory. Hangover spot? Against a fired up LSU squad coming off their first regular season loss in years. LSU is a different team at home, especially in Death Valley at night. That defense will be flying and I quite frankly do not trust Connor Shaw to win in a game in that environment. Sure Lattimore is awesome, but he still doesnt look like he did pre-ACL and he is going to need to be every bit of that for them to score.
USC has struggled on the road in both games this season. They were losing 17-7 at half vs Kentucky and probably should have lost to Vandy week one. That defense does not look untouchable away from home and it is going to have to be. If they are down 17-7 at half, there is no coming back.
GL this week gents
