#4 Posted: 3/12/2012 9:12:31 AM UNC Assville beat no ranked teams. They are where they should be.

#5 Posted: 3/12/2012 9:50:15 AM UNCA didnt exactly play a lot of ranked teams this year.
5-8 years ago, this line would be 25. no longer do we get such lines.
i think it's too low. boeheim will keep is foot on the pedal

#6 Posted: 3/12/2012 10:12:36 AM jefff thats a good point. Why dont we see 24-28 pt spreads on 1 vs 16 games anymore? I guess we dont know the unc or kentucky lines yet but as of now the highest 1st round game i think is the missori line |

#9 Posted: 3/12/2012 11:33:54 AM Jim B will let his team eat first 2 rounds. they are hungry after the Cincy game.
I watched UNC-A play this year. they have experience at guard but they are small and should get crushed on offensive rebounds and second chance points
Syracuse wins this one by 25-30

#10 Posted: 3/12/2012 7:21:21 PM they dont have a real shot at beatign syracuse, but the fact that vegas says 17 shows there stronger than a 16 if you ask me. I just wish they could have played a 3 and then they would def have a shot at winning. this team is better than you are all giving credit for, with that said 17 is a number that even a team playing tough for a while can still possibly not cover. |

#11 Posted: 3/12/2012 7:45:40 PM Syracuse is vulnerable to teams with height and strength down low. UNC-A ranks 345th (yes, dead last) in Effective Height in D1. They do play hard and the number seems high, but I am not sure I can back UNC-A with such a short team.

#12 Posted: 3/12/2012 7:50:03 PM unc-ashville blows.. i watched them play a mediocre at best ohio bobcats team and they got blown out.. they can't handle the press. syracuse should them.. especially after losing in the big east tournament

#13 Posted: 3/12/2012 7:54:17 PM Syr is vulnerable to any team that gets hot from beyond the arc that zone gets lazy, especially when they get a big lead still they should win by 20+

#15 Posted: 3/12/2012 10:23:19 PM Ok now, where exactly did I say UNCASH would even cover? My point is 17 is very very low for a 16 seed to be catching, for months now I wondered why Lunardi had them at a 16 seed, I still thought they would not receive a 16 seed and they did.
Whats a 16 seed usually catching boys? 23-30
Mich st which is the weakest #1 is laying 20. Syracuse is the 2nd strongest #1.
Thats all my point was I dont know where in this thread I said UNC would cover you are not reading correctly, try hooked on phonics |

a wise choice
a sucker over there said syr will rout them

syr doesnt rout anybody they are lazy behind punks that ony care about winn and play up to their opponent lvl so syr might be up by 22 at some pt then they will put their heads in their fools and will wind up winning by 12-14pts

Ok Well I guess i made my point but no one i think understood it.lol. I hope they give them a good game. My money in the first round will be on BYU and Notre Dame. Maybe a ML play on UNCASH fo rthe darn of it, if they won i would never forgive myself.
